Itinerario
Al comienzo de su viaje, podrá sentir el aliento de la naturaleza en la ciudad de Okutama. La primera parte del viaje será cruzar el valle de Hatonosu. En el Puente Unzen podrá disfrutar del magnífico paisaje exclusivo de Okutama. El aire fresco que desciende de las montañas al valle disipará rápidamente la somnolencia matutina y el aire viciado que se ha acumulado durante mucho tiempo en el coche.
En el primer destino, harás tu ejercicio matutino. La cueva Nippara es una de las cuevas de piedra caliza que representan la región de Kanto. Hay luces en algunos lugares, creando un paisaje fantástico. Mientras caminas por una cueva de aproximadamente 1 km de largo, puedes sentir la edad a través de las estalactitas que se crearon durante muchos miles de años.
El recorrido lo llevará alrededor del lago. El lago Okutama es uno de los lagos representativos de Japón. Podrás disfrutar del magnífico paisaje de cada estación frente a tus ojos.
Después de recorrer la orilla del lago, visitaremos un punto en la cima de la montaña donde podrá disfrutar de una vista espectacular del lago y las montañas. Haremos un simple picnic aquí. Almorzaremos con una lonchera kamameshi hecha con vegetales cultivados localmente y nos despediremos de la ciudad de Okutama.
Después del almuerzo, descansaremos en el auto mientras nos desplazamos. Entraremos a Hinohara Village mientras conservamos nuestra energía para las actividades de la tarde. Hinohara Village es el único pueblo de Tokio que no es muy conocido ni siquiera entre los residentes de Tokio. Junto con Okutama Town, es el pueblo más rodeado de naturaleza de Tokio. El ciprés de este pueblo se ha convertido en una marca.
Aquí visitaremos la casa tradicional japonesa. Puede aprender sobre cómo vivía la gente en el pasado en un entorno hostil. Utilizo el monorraíl de alpinismo para llegar a casa. Podrás disfrutar de la espectacular vista al subir una empinada pendiente de 43 grados.
Aquí caminaremos cruzando el valle. Las rocas Kanoto son dos grandes rocas con superficie histórica. Caminaremos por la orilla del río que fluye vigorosamente entre las rocas. Los paisajes misteriosos y las carreteras emocionantes te harán olvidar que estás en Tokio.
Final, iremos a ver una cascada. Hossawa Falls es una de las cascadas representativas de Japón. Se trata de una cascada de 60 m de largo dividida en 4 escalones. El área alrededor de la cuenca de la cascada está rodeada por una gran cantidad de iones negativos. En invierno, puedes ver el "Hyobaku", donde toda la cascada se congela.

We highly recommend this experience. From booking communications were excellent. Meeting point directions were accurate and easy. Our guide was punctual and friendly. He had an extensive knowledge of the Okutama region which he shared throughout the trip. He was also happy to answer our many random questions about Japan in general. Cool tour if you’re into nature and seeing spots outside of the city! Our group was small but I enjoyed that it was a bit more intimate. Going through the cave was interesting and getting to the top of the mountain gave us such a beautiful view of the area! Our guide, Ayumu, was awesome and very knowledgeable about the history of the area as well as kinda and personable. The people who lived in the area were so much more welcoming than anywhere else I’ve been in Japan (but to be fair, I’ve only gone to three different cities). Would definitely recommend!

Excellent tour especially if you want to go sightseeing outside of the busy Tokyo area. Our guide was great and the tour only had four of us. We had two nights at Haneda Airport and had a spare day. Our guide picked us up from our airport hotel which was fantastic. Be prepared for a long day but well worth it.

The day was fantastic with our guide collecting us from our hotel (very early in the morning - get a good night's rest as its a long day!) You go into the part of Japan that you otherwise likely wouldn't as a tourist, your guide is passionate and knowledgeable and can tell he enjoys what he does. Ask him the main reason why - his response is very fulfilling. We stopped Ppenty of pit stops for coffee, snacks or bathroom breaks as well as a yummy lunch. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Japan especially if you want a day outside of the city / suburbs.
