Itinerario
Lo recogeremos en su hotel o residencia en la ciudad de Dhaka y comenzaremos a movernos hacia Sonargaon (aproximadamente 1 a 1,5 horas de viaje). 11:00 am – 11:30 am : Primero visitaremos la mezquita Goaldi que fue construida en 1519 d.C. en un pueblo Goaldi en Sonargaon por Mulla Hizabar Akbar Khan durante el reinado del sultán Hussain Shah. Es una de las antiguas mezquitas de Bangladesh. Tomamos un pequeño descanso para el té aquí.
Boro Sardar Bari en Sonargaon es una mansión histórica construida en 1901 por la rica familia comerciante de Sardar. Conocido por su elegante estilo arquitectónico indoeuropeo, el edificio cuenta con grandes columnas, ventanas arqueadas y diseños intrincados. Antes símbolo de prosperidad, ahora forma parte del Museo de Artes y Oficios Populares de Sonargaon, que muestra el rico patrimonio cultural y artístico de Bengala. Es una de las atracciones más destacadas de Sonargaon, que refleja la grandeza del pasado de la región.
Iremos al Edificio Principal (Prasad) que solía ser el palacio del Rey Isa Kha. Ahora se utiliza para el Museo de Folk, Arte y Artesanía y también cubre el edificio recién construido de arte popular también. Caminamos por todo el campus para explorar la antigua Capital de Bengala.
Visitaremos la ciudad de Panam, que fue construida en 1500 d.C. Algunos señores hindúes ricos operaron su negocio aquí e hicieron una ciudad para vivir con todas las instalaciones. El área está dividida por una sola carretera es los principales edificios del sistema colonial. Esos edificios artísticos nos llevarán al antiguo de Bangla. 1 : 30 pm – 2 : 00 pm : Tomaremos nuestro almuerzo en un restaurante cercano con comida local que puede ser un poco picante y caliente. Por favor, háganoslo saber después de reservar si necesita necesidades especiales. 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm : Descansaremos un poco bajo el árbol verde y cotillearemos nosotros mismos.
Iremos al río Meghna para montar en un barco. Megh es uno de los 3 principales ríos de Bangladesh. Sonargaon está situado a orillas del río Meghna.

It is a half-day tour from 11am. It is better to confirm the opening date of each facility in advance of the participation date. It is recommended to bring an umbrella to avoid sudden rain. Both pick-up and drop-off can be specified by the hotel, so it is safe to say.

We took this tour on a very hot day in late April, and it was great to have an air-conditioned vehicle to take us from one location to the next in Sonargaon. At the guide's request, we ended up departing at 1pm instead of 11am, which meant the tour was a little shorter than expected (as we still returned at 6pm). As a result, some of the stops felt a little rushed and it would have been nice to have an extra 10 min or so at each place (we were at each stop for 15-30 mins rather than the 1-2 hours indicated in the schedule). The most relaxing part of the day ended up being the optional boat ride. This small criticism aside, we were able to see all of the promised highlights and felt very satisfied with the tour overall. (In all honesty, the times indicated in the schedule would be too long for most of the stops, especially in the heat - something inbetween would be ideal). Both our guide, Shahadat, and driver were very professional. Shahadat gave us useful information prior to departure, accompanied us to each of the attractions, and even took photographs for us, and we had a safe and punctual journey. Comparing this tour with others on offer, we felt it was very good value indeed and would recommend it to anyone in Dhaka looking to get outside the city and see some more of beautiful Bangladesh. Five stars!
