Es un recorrido donde los amantes de la historia, la política, la naturaleza y la fotografía se encuentran. En solo 7 horas, explora el Sáhara georgiano, las Montañas del Arco Iris, David Gareji Lavra y el lago. Después de todo, regresa a Tbilisi y termina el recorrido a las 5 p.m.

Traveler's Meeting Point - es un espacio gratuito donde puedes conocer gente nueva e interesante, jugar juegos de mesa, escuchar buena música o disfrutar de una copa de vino.
El primer lugar donde se detendrá es una tienda para comprar bocadillos. Dado que el área no tiene buenos restaurantes y no tenemos una parada para almorzar, debe comprar algunos bocadillos para no sentirse demasiado hambriento e incómodo. Y luego, nos dirigimos a un lago salado, donde tenemos una excelente posibilidad de tomar algunas buenas fotografías. El lago está de camino a David Gareji Lavra, y las vistas son asombrosas para tomar fotos memorables. En total, para la tienda y el lago tendremos 30 minutos.
Después del lago, continuamos conduciendo a través de Udabno Village, traducido como desierto. El área donde viajaremos es el único semidesierto que tiene Georgia, y es más que sorprendente ver cuán diversa es la naturaleza georgiana.
Comenzaremos a caminar hacia las famosas Montañas del Arco Iris al final de la conducción. La característica más impresionante del paisaje es la roca sedimentaria rica en minerales, que parece haber sido pintada con rayas de colores brillantes. Es posible caminar por las Montañas del Arco Iris, que asombran a los visitantes con sus colores. Caminaremos por las Montañas del Arcoíris, tomaremos muchas fotografías fascinantes y nos prepararemos para el recorrido histórico de David Gareji Lavra. El complejo del monasterio de David Gareji es uno de los lugares más espirituales del país. Tota (Nicholas) was a fantastic guide, he was very knowledgeable about the local history and answered my (many) questions. Zaza drove much safer than your average Marshutka driver and his van had seatbelts which I appreciated. The monastery and rainbow mountains were stunning, well worth the visit!

It was great. Tota was a wonderful guide and the views hiking in the rainbow mountains were spectacular. Zaza, the driver got us there very safely. I would definitely recommend doing this tour if you love nature and a nice hike with a picnic at the end.

Zaza was our driver and Tota (Nicholas) was our guide for the trip and he was fantastic! He led our lovely hike through the rainbow mountains. I do believe maybe 5 more minutes at the rainbow mountains would have been better, but it was very windy, so I understand. There were no big crowds at any of the stops. In fact, there were almost no people on the hike. The hike to the picnic, the ancient monastery, it was all lovely. One of the cutest day trips you can do—quieter, more kinesthetic with the hiking, perfect for someone who would want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a few hours and soak in the landscape and the wind. We had an excellent tour with Tota to Rainbow Mountain. The trip was very informative, and Tota shared a lot of interesting information throughout the day. We had the best time with our guide Tota ! We were a small group with 5 people and Tota made sure we had the best group spirit. We learned a lot about Georgian history and Tota took us on a very beautiful hike to the best picnic spot. We would definetely do it all over again. Would totally be careful about the weather though, i can imagine it would be very difficult in the summer heat. We had a cloudy day so it was perfect.
