Descripción
Comienza en la Puerta Machame y serpentea a través de exuberantes bosques tropicales y páramos antes de ascender al desierto alpino. La caminata permite una aclimatación adecuada con visitas a la Torre de Lava y una desafiante escalada al Muro del Barranco. El día de la cumbre trae un ascenso temprano en la mañana al pico Uhuru, seguido de un descenso al campamento Mweka. El último día lo llevará a través de la vibrante selva tropical hasta Mweka Gate, donde recibirá sus certificados de cumbre. Esta ruta ofrece un acercamiento equilibrado a la cumbre del Kilimanjaro.

En primer lugar visitará las cascadas, que están a unos 40 minutos a pie. En el camino, su guía le informará sobre la cultura de los Chagga, la vida del pueblo y le explicará la fauna y flora circundante. Las vistas son realmente impresionantes, y con un poco de suerte verá la cumbre del Kilimanjaro. Cuando llegues a las cascadas, verás que tienen más de 80 metros de altura. La piscina en el fondo de la cascada es un lugar acogedor para un baño refrescante, así que no olvide su traje de baño!

I had an amazing and safe experience with two friends to the summit of Kilimandjaro. Our guide was Emmanuel Mkumbo. I highly recommend him. Emmanuel is fun, encouraging and motivating. He is a friend now. All the rest of the team is really dedicated. They carry our dream until the top and they always get the smile. By the way, the food was so much and so delicious. Thanks to the chef. Overall, the trek is very beautiful and we had an amazing climbing journey Thanks for everything Emmanuel, Jon, Pascal and the rest of the team. Thanks also to William for being available and answering all my questions before the trip. If you want to make the Kilimandjaro, go for it and do it with Spirit of Kilimandjaro. You’ll get an unforgetable adventure.

We had an amazing experience on our Kilimanjaro hike. William and Rama took great care of us and made this trip really special. They are both really experieced guides and have all the know how that you will need on the mountain. Usually they made us leave quite early in the morning, therefore we mostly arrived at the camp before the rain and also had the mountain to ourself since most bigger groups were starting later. They will know your speed and adapt to it. Food was always delicious and vegan was not a problem for our cook Hussein who always cooked amazing food. Equipment was good, even tough there has been quite a lot of rain throughout the day the tent was always waterproof and the sleepingbags were warm enough. The whole team was simply amazing, also a big shout out to our lovely waiter Hamiz. Our 7-Day Journey on Machame Route was simply perfect. The Scenery is amazing and changes everyday. Also 7 Days just gave us the perfect amount of time for aclimatisation. We can definitally recomend William and Rama and the whole team and would always book with them again. Thank you so much! Who knows maybe we will be back one day!
We have done the trek with william and it was amazing, the service was excelent not to talk about the food which was super super delicious . I can only recommend spirit of Kilimanjaro as they really helped make this adventure a memorable one
