The driver was lovely, but I was then passed over to a tour guide who spoke little English and knew nothing about the rainforest. I think he woke up in the morning and decided to become a tour guide. 'Madam bird' was all I got. A complete waste of money. I could have walked myself through the forest.
Great experience in the rain forest- We expored 3 diferent waterfalls where people swam in the cool pools at the bottom of the falls, hundreds of little fish provided gentle foot cleaning of dead skin on out feet in the cool waters. Our guide Changi was an expert on spotting vipers and other minute snakes as well as chameleons and other little forest dwellers. We were given a nice |Sri Lnakn luch of Chicken, Rice, Poppadum. Okra, Chutney, daal and shred coriander. Our driver was very kind and it was all part od a great day out
Chamara was very knowledgeable about the Sinharaja forest and its environs. He guided me to view several waterfalls inside the Sinharaja Forest. He also helped me negotiate several slippery rocks at different places of the day tour. Chamars is young and enthusiastic about nature and its preservation for humanity. I found my day tour to be educational and intellectually rewarding, and this was partly due to the unique beauty of this forest, as well as Chamara's assistance.
We had an awesome all day experience. We saw lots of different birds, snakes, lizards and monkeys. The tour was totally worth every penny. We got homemade lunch and a nature loving guide who truly lives for his job. Can only recommend, thank you for the experience
We did a one day trek trough the Sinharaja Rainforest with our Guide Chamara. With Chamara eyes and a second guide from the rainforest reserve we had the chance to spot many animals like snakes, lizards, monkeys and learned a lot about the flora and fauna of Sinharaja and Sri Lanka. We had lunch next to a waterfall where we had a dip aswell. Thanks for the great company and professional guidance! Hope to meet you again it was an amazing experience ☺️
That was so cool! We were looking forward to this tour since the reviews were so good. But it was even 1.000 times better! We saw many animals and got lunch from our guide‘s mom. We were able to see his love to nature. His knowledge about the animals is impressive. So I would recommend this to everyone who loves nature as well! :)
It was a unique nice experience. Our guide, Chamara, was really helpful and let us take our time when reaching different waterfalls. Overall, a really mesmerising place to visit and explore.
Very nice trip! Chamara was a great guide and we enjoyed a lot! Great place with great waterfalls! We visited the whole forest me and my partner and we had a pleasant time! It was like an adventure! Take long clothes and shoes.
