Comenzamos nuestro día temprano en la mañana. Los huéspedes pueden ser recogidos directamente desde Tirana, o puede unirse a nosotros en Shkodra, con el punto de encuentro establecido en el animado paseo marítimo de Shkodra. Comenzamos con un paseo relajado por la colorida calle peatonal llena de cafeterías y tiendas boutique, una gran introducción al espíritu del norte de Albania.
Castillo de Rozafa – Historia y vistas panorámicas Nuestra primera parada importante es el castillo de Rozafa, uno de los monumentos más famosos de la región. Situado en una colina sobre la ciudad, el castillo ofrece hermosas vistas de Shkodra, el lago Shkodra y los ríos circundantes. También escucharás la legendaria historia de Rozafa y explorarás las antiguas murallas de la fortaleza.
Shiroka & Lake Shkodra – Escapada panorámica junto al lago Continuamos hacia Shiroka, un pueblo tranquilo junto al lago Shkodra. Aquí puede dar un relajante paseo junto al lago, disfrutar de las vistas tranquilas y, opcionalmente, almorzar con pescado fresco local, una especialidad de la zona.
Kruja – Ciudad histórica de montaña Por la tarde, conduciremos hacia Kruja, la ciudad natal del héroe nacional de Albania, Gjergj Kastrioti Skanderbeg. La ciudad se encuentra en las laderas de las montañas y ofrece impresionantes vistas sobre las llanuras hasta el mar Adriático. Tiempo libre en Kruja – Almuerzo y compras Antes de entrar en el castillo, los huéspedes disfrutan de tiempo libre para almorzar en uno de los restaurantes tradicionales y para navegar por las tiendas locales del bazar.
Antiguo Bazar de Kruja – Artesanía y Recuerdos Nuestra visita comienza con un paseo por el Antiguo Bazar, conocido por sus tiendas de madera, alfombras hechas a mano, artesanía tradicional y platería. Es uno de los mejores lugares para encontrar auténticos recuerdos albaneses.
Castillo de Kruja y Museo Skanderbeg – Pasado Heroico de Albania Terminamos el día con una visita al Castillo de Kruja y al Museo Skanderbeg, dedicado a la vida y las batallas de la figura histórica más importante de Albania. El museo es rico en historia, y las terrazas del castillo ofrecen vistas inolvidables sobre el centro de Albania. Después de la visita, nos dirigimos de regreso a Tirana, donde el tour concluye con la entrega en su alojamiento.

In Kruja, I was fascinated by the castle, the old bazaar and the stone streets that tell the story of the Albanian people. The atmosphere was magical, with breathtaking views and welcoming and smiling people. In Shkodër, I discovered a lively and lively environment: the lake, the Rozafa fortress and the old town offer wonderful views and a feeling of peace and tradition. It was a very special day, full of emotions and beautiful moments that I will always carry with me. I recommend everyone to visit these two extraordinary cities — Albania can surprise with its authenticity and its human warmth.
Amazing Day Tour of Kruja & Shkodra with Xhuliano Our tour of Kruja and Shkodra was unforgettable, thanks to our fantastic guide, Xhuliano. An artist at heart and a history enthusiast, he brought every site to life with his passion and knowledge. In Kruja, we explored the Skanderbeg Museum and the charming Old Bazaar, where Xhuliano introduced us to local artisans. In Shkodra, we admired the breathtaking views from Rozafa Castle and explored the Marubi Photography Museum, enriched by his artistic insights. The tour was fantastic and Albi was AMAZING. I feel like I took a master class in the history and culture of Albania. He was so professional and well put together; this man knew his stuff. He was an incredible driver and I felt very safe driving with him. I honestly have probably never had a better tour in my life. You can tell he cares deeply about his clients, as well as sharing the history and culture of Albania with those who are visiting. I would recommend anyone to ask for Albi for this tour because he made the trip an absolute joy. Seeing both of the castles was incredible and the museum at Kruja Castle is totally worth the trip. Rozafa Castle was a fantastic stop as well. We had a great walk around Shkoder and he helped select a great place for me to have lunch. I wish there were more stars to share for how wonderful the day was!! Hands down Albi made it the best tour I have been on in Albania, and probably ever! Highly reccomend!

Beautiful very pleasant day, our Guide was very attentive safe and impeccable driving. He made us a nice proposal for lunch , local produce and in a superb environment. Our Guide Tony speaks several languages , we had nice conversations . In short , we had a great day, I recommend Tony 100%. Feel free to make escapades with this Guide. His car was clean.

This was my third excursion with Local Friends Albania. Had previously visited Prizren in Kosovo, Berat, and Ohrid in North Macedonia. From first contact via WhatsApp to the day of the tour itself, Skerdi and Xhulijo were awesome. Highly knowledgeable not just on the surface but on deeper questioning. They know their stuff!
