Visite dos de los lugares más encantadores de Alemania en una excursión de un día completo desde Fráncfort. Con un guía experto para enseñárselo todo de Heidelberg, podrá explorar las ruinas del Castillo de Heidelberg y descubrir el casco antiguo medieval, el Puente de Karl Theodor y la Universidad de Heidelberg. La tarde se dedicará a descubrir el tramo del Valle del Rin declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, donde se embarcará en un crucero por el río Rin antes de disfrutar de una sesión de cata de vinos locales y una cena.

Comience con un encantador tour matutino a la romántica Heidelberg. Visitaremos las ruinas del castillo de Heidelberg muy por encima del valle y el punto de referencia de la ciudad. Dé un paseo por el gran patio, impresionante con sus edificios residenciales medievales. Desde la gran terraza podrá disfrutar de una fantástica vista panorámica sobre el histórico Heidelberg. En las bóvedas de bodega te mostramos las barricas de vino más grandes del mundo.
En un recorrido a pie a través de los callejones torcidos del hermoso centro de la ciudad vieja de Heidelberg vendrá a ver la Puerta de Carlos y el Puente Viejo, la Casa de los Caballeros y la Iglesia del Espíritu Santo, por mencionar solo algunos de los lugares de interés importantes.
Por la tarde exploraremos el Valle del Rin Medio Alto, Patrimonio de la UNESCO, con sus viñedos y pintorescos pueblos pequeños. Vea los poderosos castillos medievales: la zona tiene la densidad más alta de edificios de este tipo en Europa. Disfrute de una entretenida lección sobre la historia del cultivo del vino del valle que se remonta a la antigüedad romana junto con algunos pequeños sabores de vinos locales. Uno de los puntos más destacados es el crucero fluvial en uno de los vapores tradicionales del Rin. Cena en un hermoso restaurante justo a la orilla del río. Vuelve a Frankfurt.

The boat ride was fine, but the “wine tasting” was a joke. Following dinner, we were each given shot glasses with three different white wines. We were expecting much more including some kind of commentary/instruction from an expert.
The guide was very accomodating and informative. We really love the scenic view of the rhine valley and enjoy the whole tour
we didn't use this specific company so i can't comment on their service but the city of heidleberg, the rhine valley and Rudesheim are worth seeing for sure. charming cities, great history and good food available.

The bus is very very old and dirty! I have never took such kind of bus in Europe! We joined the all day tip , but the bus go back and forth between Heidelberg /Frankfurt/Frankfurt/Rhine Valley/Frankfurt, just for pick up the other afternoon group. Waist time!
The guide was very knowledgeable and truly enjoy the beautiful tour. Travel alone meant I have to find a tour that safe and great for me and also I don’t have to struggle with the language
went on the Rhine Valley Tour 7 June 2019. All went well until we arrived in Rudesheim to have an included dinner and wine-tasting before heading back to Frankfurt. Went to this restaurant (grossly ornated inside with figurines, grapes used as lighting and model ships). Not the usual restaurant for this tour but because we were running late, had to visit this place. The dinner was turkey and chips (I thought the turkey was fish but when I enquired of the type of fish, I was told it was turkey.) Turkey was a minced, pressed meat in breadcrumbs and was totally tasteless. The wine (which we thought was included) seemed to be watered down and we had to pay. The dessert (also thought was included in the dinner) was extra and we had to pay for this too. 3 people of our party (wisely) left when the dinner was served because it was that bad. Was charged a total of 11E for the dinner and wine. Only thing was the price on the menu was 6.5 E for the strudel dessert and 3.5E for the wine - total 10E. Ripped off!. Told the waitress that the meal was terrible and she replied "Thank you". I replied again that you should have said "sorry". The wine tasting was no better (same place). 5 little cups with about 3 teaspoons of wine in each. Disgusting. You could see the tour guide was embarrassed as well. Other than this terrible dinner experience, the rest of the tour was great.
We did Heidelberg in the morning with Andreas as the driver and Patricia as the guide. Both were great and we had a lot of fun. Patricia was very informative on all the interesting parts of the trip and things we passed on the way. We got a cheese & salami sandwich and a bottle of water for lunch. We returned to the office in Frankfurt then continued on to the Rhine Valley for the afternoon with a different guide. He too was very informative and funny. Stopped traffic on the highway made us take a detour through the backroads which took a bit longer but more interesting things to see. Had dinner at an interesting restaurant. Everyone got the same dinner included in the cost but drinks (including soda or water) and dessert cost extra. Then boarded the boat for a cruise which was one of my favorite parts of our trip. Very serene and peaceful with amazing views. Then we took a bus ride back to Frankfurt. Though slightly rushed at Heidelberg Castle, I thought we had plenty of time at both locations to see everything we wanted to. Even my husband who was skeptical as he you usually doesn't like group tours enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this trip.
