Emprenda su viaje de 12 a 13 horas que comienza a las 8:30 a. m. desde Colombo / a las 7:30 a. m. desde Negombo o el aeropuerto internacional de Bandaranayake Katunayake Sri Lanka para la excursión de un día completo a Galle y Bentota. En esta excursión relajada podrá explorar el criadero de tortugas y tocar tortugas bebés, disfrute del safari en barco por el río Madu Ganga, aprenda sobre la vida silvestre local, el jardín de canela, vea a los pescadores con zancos en el trabajo. Explore el sitio del patrimonio de Galle Fort-UNESCO construido en el siglo XVII por los holandeses como Dutch Rampart.

Bentota es una ciudad turística en la costa suroeste de Sri Lanka. Su larga playa de Bentota se extiende hacia el norte, donde se convierte en una franja arenosa conocida como Paradise Island, paralela a Bentota Lagoon. Los sitios de buceo ricos en coral incluyen Canoe Rock. En el río Bentota, el centenario templo de Galapota tiene una gran estatua de Buda. Luego visite Mithiyagoda Moonstone Mine, puede experimentar el verdadero proceso de imitación de Moonstone y también comprar Moonstone real a mitad de precio en cualquier otro lugar porque es una fábrica real. En el mundo hay pocos lugares que tengan Moonstone. Mithiyagoda es un lugar único en Sri Lanka.

El Fuerte Galle, o el Fuerte Holandés como también se lo conoce, es una fortificación construida por primera vez por los portugueses en la costa suroeste de Sri Lanka. Las fortificaciones iniciales, que se construyeron a finales del siglo XVI, fueron bastante básicas. Sin embargo, el fuerte sufrió amplias modificaciones en el siglo XVII por los holandeses, convirtiéndolo en uno de los monumentos arqueológicos, arquitectónicos e históricos más importantes en ilustrar la influencia europea en el sudeste asiático entre los siglos XVI y XIX. Según una declaración de la UNESCO, el sitio fue reconocido como Patrimonio de la Humanidad por su exposición única de un conjunto urbano que ilustra la interacción de la arquitectura europea y las tradiciones del sur de Asia desde los siglos XVI al XIX, que es el criterio número cuatro para tal reconocimiento .

This day tour to Galle and Bentota from Colombo and Negombo was a very enjoyable and well-organised experience. From the beginning, everything ran smoothly, and the journey along the southern coast was comfortable and scenic. My tour guide, Raja, was excellent throughout the day. He was knowledgeable, polite, and very attentive, providing clear explanations about the history, culture, and significance of the places we visited. Visiting the historic Galle Fort was a highlight. Raja explained the background of the fort and its colonial past in an engaging way, while also allowing enough free time to explore, take photographs, and enjoy the atmosphere at our own pace. Bentota offered a relaxing coastal contrast to Galle, and the itinerary was well balanced without feeling rushed. Raja was always mindful of timing, comfort, and individual preferences, which made the experience very pleasant. Transport was comfortable, and the driving was safe and professional. Overall, this tour exceeded expectations. Thoroughly enjoyed the day heading down to Galle with Raja with plenty of stops along the way. Particularly enjoyed the river tour and Galle. Could've skipped the Gem stop as I'd already experienced it elsewhere in Sri Lanka. A bit more time in Galle would have been nice to have more time to explore. The other part that would be helpful is an indication of cost for the optional activities to help travellers not feel like they're being overcharged, especially when taken to different places to the ones specified in the itinerary.

I would have started in Galle and then made my way back to Negombo In other words drive right to Galle from Negombo and work our way back.

Bring a hat and plenty of water. It can be VERY hot on river boat. guide was excellent. Interesting but long ride from Colombo
Raja was our excellent driver and tour guide. We embarked on a day trip to Galle, nestled in the southern region of Sri Lanka. The water shimmered with an enchanting beauty, and the sights were nothing short of breathtaking. Though the day was long and tiring, it was absolutely worth every moment. Thank you Raja.
We hired a 10 seater, Micro Tourer van from Bookingmart Holidays, for our 8 days Sri Lanka Trip. We were a group of 7 male friends from New Delhi, India. We were on the ‘Ramayana Trail Trip’ i.e. touring cities like Nuwara Eliya, Ella, etc. The driver Maheeshan was polite and punctual. He was on time at the Colombo AirPort to pick us up. The van condition and it’s AC was quiet good. He kept the van neat and clean, washing it daily after the trip. There was a complimentary Wi-Fi in the van for all of us, whose speed/strength was quiet good, and we were able to use the free WhatsApp calls facility from Sri Lanka to India. Overall we were well satisfied with the services and would strongly recommend their services to others. Thanks
