Itinerario

Brilliant trip. We had to cancel the Ella Kandy trip due to the floods, but the provider communication was brilliant and we did this trip instead. Great driver and loads of sights. Highly recommended!
Fantastic day. We went on the 4am visit but the early start was worth it. We saw monkeys, elephants, lots of different types of birds, deer and water lizards. Amazing lunch. The elephant sanctuary is a wonderful place and to see them milking. Pasindu was our guide. Looked after us too well again! Excellent.
The boat safari was both beautifully relaxing and super exciting. Harinda has eyes like a hawk. He spotted so much wildlife. He also prepared us fresh coconut milk and pineapple. Delicious. The tea plantation and factory was highly informative. So much effort and science goes into providing tea as we know it. I will appreciate my future cuppas even more. I was thrilled to have the experience of picking tea. Galle Fort has so much history and spectacular views, including of the cricket ground. Amazing work is being done at the turtle factory. We were allowed to hold 2 day old babies and some mature turtles. We arrived at the Buddhist Temple at sunset. Everyone was so welcoming and the atmosphere was joyful. In all of these fantastic experiences we were accompanied by our wonderful driver, Pradeep. By the end of the day we felt we had made a new friend. I hugely recommend him and if you read this Pradeep, thank you for one of our best days we have ever had.
We loved this tour, can’t believe how much we packed into one day!! Fed monkeys by hand in the Bentota River mangrove forest. Our skipper was very knowledgeable and was excellent at spotting the animals. Our driver was excellent, patient and reliable. Saw turtles hatching and got to hand release them into the tank for their first ever swim!! Tea plantation was professional and informative and the mask factory was a nice cultural touch. Highly recommended!
A great trip! We saw alot of animals, crocodile, monkeys, owls to name a few. Our boat guide was very friendly and really good at spotting the animals. Our driver shared alot of interesting information about the country and was also very friendly. We really enjoyed the visit to the tea plant. Perfect combination with information and practice. Our guide had alot of knowledge and really showed he's passion. A really recommend to make this trip. Ps. Galle was a really beautiful town.
Very happy to join a Bentoto Travel Mart trip again! Dinesh, our driver was top! THANKS Dinesh, we will look you up next time we're in your beautiful country. We loved the river safari, and the Tea plantation, which is what we were after. Some of the other parts did feel like a donation conveyor, but we get it completely. Sri Lanka is struggling, and it needs us, and I'm happy to help. We earn far more than they can imagine, so parting with a few quid is no issue on such a wonderful island, and one that's had so many hardships. Sam, at Bentota Travel was always there to help. Thanks Dinesh and Sam!
We found Bentota Travel Mart online and booked a couple of excursions to maximise what we could see during out short stay in Sri Lanka. Via WhatsApp we communicated with Sam who fully informed us what to expect and who to expect. Dinesh was our driver and guide for both occasions. He was timely, attentive and extremely helpful throughout the day. Whilst making our way to the various itinerary stops Dinesh would make or offer unscheduled stops for photo opportunities and provide more information about the location. He was willing to take photos so we were both in the pictures. On the tour, its itinerary is a full day, with proper breakfast and lunch and captures the sentiments of the country, its caring nature, its economic needs (tourist to buy), its spirit (faith), and the natural beauty that is Sri Lanka. Thank you Dinesh and Sam well deserved 5 stars. Hope to be back. Denise and Marcia.
very well planned excursion and was the best day of our holiday. completely well organized excursions. Started with River Safari followed by Turtle Sanctuary and historical Galle Fort. Ended up with amazing Tea Factory visit. We has great time at the Tea Plantation and thank you for well explained guided tour. This is a highly recommended Tour and Thank you for BTM for organizing this.
Always had very friendly and competent advice we were very much at peace...you can always find the right trip here
When travelling to Bentota I would recommend Sam from Bentota Travel Mart. Well organised and professional. We used for quite a bit while basing ourselves in Bentota. We did a day trip to Galle taking in the Turtle Hatchery, a river cruise before heading to Galle for some good old history. Tsunami museum well worth a visit and the stilt fishermen. Sam will ensure an air condition car available with water and an English speaking guide or others if required.
