La vista del monte. El rango de Annapurna, Langtang y Everest es claramente visible desde la cima de la colina de Chandragri. Para los hindúes religiosos las personas del templo Bhalashower Madhave (Shiva) son otra atracción. La colina de Chandragiri está formada por pequeñas y grandes rocas que se pueden encontrar en la ruta hacia el pico, y está cubierta por una exuberante manta verde de flora. El templo Bhaleshore Mahadev de Lord Shiva está en la cima de la colina. La leyenda dice que el rey Prithivi Narayan Shah adoró en el templo antes de conquistar el valle durante su campaña de unificación. El recorrido por la ladera de Chandragiri es una excelente opción para los amantes de la naturaleza que se encuentra cerca de Katmandú. El acceso por carretera a la estación del teleférico es de fácil acceso. Lo recogeremos de su hotel en Thamel y nos dirigiremos a la estación del teleférico, tome un teleférico y visitaremos la estación de la colina Chandragiri con impresionantes vistas del Himalaya.

Amazing views and fantastic historic sites with a fabulous guide (Raju and Rajesh) who were fun and very knowledgeable about everything. Subash was great in organizing and always responded to questions within minutes. Reasonably priced too...would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Went to the Chandragiri hills by cable car during our spare day while in Kathmandu. It was a great spend. There is a temple at the hilltop, which is quite beautiful. You also get to see amazing mountain views of peaks like Langtang and Annapurna. Visiting the hilltop is a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu city. Highly recommend it if you have a day off touring the city!!

Went to the Chandragiri hills which is quite near Kathmandu during my visit to Nepal. It was a peaceful, relaxing trip. I experienced traveling via cable car for the first time in Nepal and it was quite exciting. It was like riding a roller coaster and bonus point the vistas were also quite cool. There was a temple in the hill which was quite massive and made the region look majestic. The mountain views and the view of the city from the top was also quite cool. Thanks to the team at exciting Nepal for making this short trip possible!

Took a trip to chandragiri recently during my day off to chandragiri hills. It was a short and sweet trip and very relaxing. We traveled via cable car transport and saw beautiful vistas of the valley from the hilltop. Turns out the hilltop is a common gateway point for people of the valley. Highly recommend it to you if you do it during your day off in Kathmandu! It's a short but very enjoyable trip!

The trip was amazing and well timed. The agency took care of almost everything and still left ample freedom and not micromanage everything (unlike many other agencies). Took the cable car from the foothill which was an adventure on its own. Got a chance to talk to locals who were also visiting the place. The temple complex was clean and beautiful. The views were breathtaking. Overall, a great experience.

If you have been in Kathmandu during winter, visiting Chandragiri Hill during a snowfall is an absolute must! The beauty of this place is unparalleled, with the snow-covered hilltop offering panoramic views of the mountains and valleys. You ascend to the top of the hill on a cable car, the snowfall adds an extra layer of excitement to the journey. Once you reach the top, you can explore the hilltop and enjoy the stunning views that stretch as far as the eye can see. The snow-covered landscape, along with the temple, is a sight to behold. The peaceful surroundings offer a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The exciting Nepal team suggested I do this trip during my spare day in Kathmandu and their timing couldn’t have been better. It is rare to have snowfall during April but their suggestion luckily allowed me to be there during snow. I love the team for suggesting me to take this trip during this random time.
