Meeting spot could be better marked. Bratislava photo spot is the bus depot. Enjoyed Budapest, guide was knowledgeable.
THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The guide called me a liar!!! I booked this trip on the 5th of Dec and it was supposed to be on the 25th, so 20 days! And I was sent a message ONE day before the trip saying that having our passports was mandatory. I didnt see this message because i was already on my trip and not connected all the time. Thats not even the worst part. On the day of the trip, my friend and I walked to the meeting point which was around 10 mins away from our hotel, once we arrived we were told that we cant get on the trip without the passports, no IDs or passport copies would work. The staff was very rude and didnt even wait for us. I said that i could run back and get them within 15 mins tops and he didnt agree!!! Instead he argued for almost 7 mins that it was our mistake that we didnt see the message (also note that it wasnt written in the description). I said that i will give it a try and i ran back to get the passports but they went without us anyways. If the guide said from the begining that we had 15 mins and the bus should leave (instead of arguing) we wouldve went back gotten the passports and joined. My friend who waited and tried to stall them was told by the guide that we can get a refund (which we didnt). Also my friend suggested that we take the train and catch up with the group wherever they are. The guide said to her that it was fine, and this is what we tried to do but the guide refused for us to join the group. So not only he lied about us being able to get a refund but also refused for us to join. I took the train and went to budapest and tried to text them to join but the answers were very rude and disrespectful. Not only that, but also the guide gave me a call to tell me to stop texting and that he will he closing the ticket! And didnt provide any solutions. When i said that i am already in Budapest he said “NO UR NOT” so that him basically calling me a liar. I informed him that ill write the review and he didnt seem to care at all so heres it.

Great day trip! If you want to experience more of Budapest i would say spend a few nights, but this is a great way to get a quick experience of the city and try some cuisine.
Dear Customer, Thank you so much for your lovely review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the day trip and got a great first impression of Budapest. We completely agree — the city has so much to offer that staying a few nights is a wonderful idea, but we're happy we could give you a memorable taste of its sights and cuisine in just one day. We hope to welcome you back again for an even deeper Budapest experience! Kind regards, your Vienna Sightseeing Team
Worthwhile trip. Great organization and are. Pick up from hotel was great. Good guides. On the bus and at destination.
The guide that travelled on the bus from Vienna provided a wealth of information, and was amazing! Sadly the two guides that came onboard when we got to Budapest (one for English and the other for Spanish) didn’t seem on one accord. They shared one microphone and didn’t seem to be in unison. I felt like they wasted my time and couldn’t wait to get off the bus to explore on my own!
Budapest is a beautiful city. The tour took us on a bus around the Buda side and so we were only able to get pictures from the bus. The tour guide said Buda is the hilly side so parking would be am issue if they had stopped there. The Pest side is flat so we were able sight see on our own after the guide finished. Overall it was a good tour. If you need to really see this city, a day trip wont do it.
Good experience , trip was well organised , the tour guide was very informative, reached back on time
The ac of the coach stopped working after some time , so it was sweating inside . the guide were repeating same thing too frequently. They ( guides) were sweating and fanning themselves inside the bus. The bus did not stopped near view points/attractions for travellers to take pictures rather they were spinning around the monument 2-3 times which rather made me dizzy.
Large group bus tour 4 hour drive in both English and Spanish. The guide did not say the same things in each language and did not have time to tell each language about each thing we passed so we only heard every other sight and had to look at her fingers pointing for the others. She also forgot how to speak English multiple times and favored the Spanish speakers. She also got a few basic history facts wrong as she was speaking. Huge greyhound type bus that drove by each sight and we didn’t stop except to get out at Hero’s square and across the river to see the parliament building. Only good part was when we were allowed free time in Budapest for 3 hours then back on the bus for another headache of non stop talking at extremely loud volume and no air conditioning. I would not recommend this one
