Itinerario
La primera parada del día será en Erldunda (hogar del emú), donde podrá comprar el desayuno.
Una parada rápida para recoger a otros pasajeros si hay alguno.
Luego visitaremos el Centro Cultural Aborigen, donde tendrá tiempo para aprender sobre la gente local de Pitjantjatjara y comprar algunos recuerdos. El Centro Cultural fue construido con 90,000 ladrillos de barro con la ayuda de la gente local de Anangu. Está construido en un sitio sagrado y tiene un significado muy especial para la gente Anangu local.
Luego nos dirigimos a la base de Uluru (Ayers Rock), que está al lado de la entrada a la subida de Uluru. Desde aquí, uno de los dos guías le llevará a realizar un Mala Walk guiado. El Mala Walk sigue el lado noroeste de Uluru, donde hay muchos excelentes ejemplos de arte rupestre Anangu, y puedes experimentar la maravilla de las escarpadas paredes verticales. El guía contará historias de Dreamtime del pueblo Anangu. Conducimos desde el frente de Uluru hasta el estacionamiento de Kuniya, que está en la parte trasera de Uluru. Desde aquí comenzamos nuestra segunda caminata guiada por Uluru hasta el pozo de agua de Mutitjulu. El guía lo llevará por un sendero corto hasta el pozo de agua de Mutitjulu, hogar de una serpiente de agua ancestral llamada Wanampi. El guía compartirá historias de las tradiciones locales y explicará cómo el pueblo Anangu usaba tradicionalmente el pozo de agua para cazar. Las cuevas que contienen arte rupestre fueron utilizadas en el pasado por Anangu que aún viven hoy.
El escenario ya está preparado, lo más destacado del día, la impresionante puesta de sol de Uluru con un vaso de champán (o cerveza BYO) y una deliciosa barbacoa australiana. Un día espectacular que nunca olvidarás. Después del atardecer, partimos hacia Alice Springs. O, si finaliza el recorrido en Ayers Rock Resort, lo dejarán en Outback Pioneer después del atardecer.

It is such a long trip to get there and was a little disappointing. I thought there would be more hiking. The food at the BBQ was OK. The beverages were fine but the glasses were dirty. We had a cloudy day so the sunset wasn't as nice.
Joyfull trip with experience and knowledgeable tour guides. Bus was comfortable and drivers were excellent. Sunset dinner meal was perfect end to an enjoyable day and the food was great.
It was very expensive tour as park entrance was not included and it was $38. But it was worth it as the bbq was very nice . Long day and very tiring. We did not see Simpson’s gap and a few other places as it was a very long trip.

It was a long day from Alice Springs but so worth it! Guide, Yad, was knowledgeable and kept the pace moving. Invest in a fly mask before you go!

Exhausting ( 4.5h bus only) but fantastic and educational day trip to Ayers Rock. Don't forget a flynet!
Despite the long bus ride, with reasonable stops, this was a very impressive experience. The barbecue at sunset at Uluru was unique. Great guide and great driver.

My husband and I had a wonderful day at Uluru with our tireless driver, Andy and knowledgeable tour guide, Yad. My husband celebrated his 80th birthday with a sunset barbecue at Uluru, a truly memorable experience, made even more memorable by the staff of Emu, who went out of their way to help me surprise him. Special thanks to Krisna and her manager at Emu., who were truly extraordinary. Our driver, Andy drove over four hours from Alice Springs to Uluru and then another more than four hours back at night. Yad, our tour guide, provided interesting and beautifully balanced commentary on the cultural significance for the Pitjantjatjara people, as well as the geological explanation for the existence of Uluru. Oh, and the barbecue with bubbly provided just the right finish for the day. P.S. A netting helmet is a must, as the flies (of the non-biting kind) constantly buzzed around our heads as we toured the beautiful Uluru Rock. But this was a small price to pay for visiting this iconic site.
