Quick overview of San Antonio and Austin's must-see and must-do. Perfect if you don't have a lot of time. Courtney is super friendly and so pleasant to talk to!
Thank you 😊
This tour was absolutely the best! Courtney, my tour guide was very fun and the tour was a delight! The stop in Katy at Buc 'ees was perfect for a breakfast snack! On to the ALAMO and Riverwalk in San Antonio was wonderful; perfect day and no crowds! Austin was so educational with the tour of the Capitol Bldg and grounds. Superb BBQ at Terry Blackwood's BBQ was so gooooooodddd!!!!! It was a very fun day and I enjoyed it immensely. I highly recommend this tour! Great time overall! Thanks again, Courtney!
Thank you!
I just got back to my hotel from this tour and wanted to write my review right away while it was fresh. First I’d like to say that our tour guide for the day Courtney was extremely nice and tried her best to be very accommodating. But there were a few snags and for that I have some complaints: first she was an hour and a half late which inevitably set us back and I’ll explain why later. Since she was late everything in the beginning felt rushed. She couldn’t figure out where to park, was walking too fast, we got lost. It just felt like a confused mess. She was very out of sorts and just could get it together and recovery from the embarrassment of being late. It wasn’t until we pulled her to the side and told her stop rushing, take her time and we wasn’t on any time schedule, so she could slow down. We understood things happen. That being said, the tour started to go smoothly and we tried to enjoy the a of our day. That was until we ate. When we sat down and ate lunch Courtney proceeded to hound the waiter every 5 mins, turning all the way around in her seat looking for him, not to mention the food was not good . So now we’re back to rushing again. Finally it wasn’t until it was time to drive back and since we ended up being two hours behind that she now admitted she had to have the rental car back at a certain time. Well….. the drive back was the scariest thing I’ve ever experienced in my life. She proceeded to go 80mph- 100 mph the entire ride. We literally held our breath and gripped the side handle the entire 3 hour ride back. She dipped this mini van in and out of cars like we were in an episode of the fast and furious!! We commented on it multiple times, but did she slow down, no. Needless to say I think this tour would have been top tier if it started off on the right foot. But this was not the experience I expected especially for the money we spent.
Wow I can't belive you would write this weird review after I told you it started at 6am and you wanted it to start at 7am and I accommodated your request and you asked to stay later and I agreed. WE DID NOT GET LOST and I got you back safely. Thanks for the feedback. I've gotten great feedback with all of my trips/ MY VISION! I couldn't tell you had a problem with the trip with how chatty you were, singing all the songs on the radio and telling us about your sons wedding. Lunch: ma'am why were you watching me so hard? Yea I felt you watching me like a hawk! I kept looking for the waiter because he took a while, you even said that yourself, I always pay early while you all finish up. Nakida, how can I hound a waiter every 5 mins that didn't come check on the table? You really have a problem! You shouldn't stalk people like that. You eventually picked the restaurant and complained(something you like to do) and sent your food back! The good thing is is there are a variety of other restaurants on the riverwalk or a great BBQ place in Austin that tourists and locals love. You could've said something if you had a problem. No but you thanked me, texted me and told me you enjoyed yourself and tipped me. You also sent me information about your Johova witness website. Now leaving this review when you're back home safely and you wanted to prolong it by staying longer? Oh parking, I could sense your patience was childlike and I knew you would have a problem with me checking my surroundings and remembering where we parked because I did park somewhere different due to the huge "Cinco De Mayo" parade that was going on. Sorry I'm not a human navigation system and I wasn't moving as fast as you would've liked. Sorry it took me 5 mins to get myself together with my map with all the chaos downtown and you had to wait! You said I was stressed and that I was embarrassed because I was late" but had no grace for me although I accommodated you and even got back later because you kept saying you want your money's worth. I think I went above and beyond to accommodate you and nothing I did wouldve been good enough. You were watching me so closely waiting on me to make a mistake and not surprised you "ran" to your hotel to go be negative. This tour is new, you were actually the second person to take it! But it will only get better and people that take it will always get their money's worth! You're seeing TWO cities in one trip including everything included. I'm taking time, money, gas and energy out of day to show you around but people like you are always looking for a problem and feel entitled. You thought this tour revolved around you. The stops and the tour is on a schedule but everything was about you! People like you are miserable and think you're powerful because you can write a "bad review" to make someone look bad. Hopefully negative people like "you" stay away from this tour! GOOD ROAD TRIP VIBES ONLY!!! We will continue to do our best to make this the best tour in Texas!
