Alejandría, una de las ciudades egipcias más antiguas, fue construida por Alejandro Magno en 332 a. C. La historia de Alejandría data de hace 2.350 años. Allí visitará sitios históricos arqueológicos, disfrutará con la vista del mar Mediterráneo y tendrá un delicioso almuerzo en un restaurante con vistas directas al mar.

La catacumba de Kom El-Shoqafa. Las catacumbas de Kom El Shoqafa que significa "Montículo de Fragmentos") es un sitio arqueológico histórico ubicado en Alejandría, Egipto, y es considerado una de las Siete Maravillas de la Edad Media. La necrópolis consta de una serie de tumbas, estatuas y objetos arqueológicos alejandrinos del culto funerario faraónico con influencias helenísticas y romanas imperiales tempranas
Errormente conocido pilar de Pompeyo porque pensamos que la cabeza de Pompeyo colgada en la parte superior del pilar data de época romana
El Teatro Romano es un antiguo teatro romano ubicado en la zona de Kom El-Dikka en el centro de la ciudad de Alejandría en Egipto. Es una de las reliquias de la época romana y se estableció a principios del siglo IV d.C. Este edificio fue descubierto por casualidad, mientras retiraba tierra para buscar la tumba de Alejandro Magno por la misión polaca en 1960. Los arqueólogos lo llamaron Teatro Romano cuando se descubrieron las escalinatas de mármol, pero surgió una gran controversia sobre la función de este edificio arqueológico. Tomó unos 30 años excavarlo.
La ciudadela de Qaitbay es uno de los fuertes más importantes de la costa del mar Mediterráneo. El sultán mameluco al-Ashraf Abu al-Nasr Qaitbay lo construyó entre 882 d.C./ 1477 d.C. y 884/ 1479 d.C. sobre las ruinas del Faro de Alejandría
La mezquita Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi es una mezquita egipcia en la ciudad de Alejandría. La mezquita histórica lleva el nombre del místico del siglo XIII Abu'l Abbas al-Mursi, que también está enterrado en el mismo lugar junto con miembros de la familia Ashraf.

After the previous day, having visited the pyramids of Giza, our expectations placed in Alexandria were high and with our guide Mariam, with an excellent Spanish, objectively we have exceeded them, visiting the Catacombs, the Roman amphitheater and finally the citadel, additional to the charm of each of these points and the cultural tour in which Mariam has answered each of our questions that have not been few, we have culminated with an excellent lunch in front of the Mediterranean. 100% recommended, we enjoyed it to the fullest. !

Well worth the trip to Alexandria, it's beautiful! There's so much to see too including the library of alexandria, the jewellery museum, national museum and catacombs. You have some extraordinary views of the sea, the colours are incredible!

to Alexandria from Cairo was wonderful. I learned a lot about the Greek and Roman history of Egypt while exploring places like the catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa and the Roman Amphitheater. In addition, the views of the Mediterranean Sea were spectacular, and lunch at a seafront restaurant was the perfect way to end the day. Highly recommended for history and natural beauty lovers
