A beautiful route with an excellent and fun guide. Landscapes and views that are not often seen, we were lucky and could see several animals, we learned a lot about the area, thank you!!
I had an amazing time climbing Vitosha mountain with Avi as my tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable, skilled as a mountain guide, and interesting to talk to. It was a nice climb: we ended up doing 19.5km of walking, 32,000 steps, and 1500 meters of elevated climbing. I think I would describe it as a moderately difficulty climb. You definitely need good trail shoes, as there are a lot of rocks paths for which normal running shoes wouldn't be suitable. Furthermore, a water bottle, sunglasses, sun screen and bug spray are also necessities. Most people can complete it, but you will definitely feel it in your legs at the end of the day. Overall, I had an awesome time, and the breath-taking view of Sofia at the summit makes the trek totally worthwhile! Thanks again Avi!
Thank you for the amazing review and we hope you will come again for other mountains in Bulgaria.
Tsetso was a fantastic guide and very informative and experienced. This is a hard hike and he took all precautions to keep us safe..He advised us at the start of the hike about the difficulty..Hiking shoes are a must. We hiked about 17 km with 1100 m elevation gain.Quite the workout with a great guide.I would highly recommend it
Thank you Julia for your positive asnwer and we are very happy that you like our tour.
The tour advertised up to 16 people but we were the only ones who signed up for the day so we got a private tour. Our guide knew a lot of history about Bulgaria and was knowledgeable about the forest and mountains. We couldn’t manage the full hike but our guide was able to pivot to give us a beautiful experience and look off point with a much shorter trek.
Great mountain hiking our guide filip and his colleague Nicolaï was extraordinary kindness we spent an unforgettable day and they showed us a local restaurant.
We were 40 minutes late to be picked up. The tour is factually incorrect - we did not climb any mountain. Very, very disappointed.
filip was a great guide. we saw a lot of the nature around sofia. from snowy mountaintops to a forrest to a lakeside village. we learned a lot about bulgaria and i can definitly recommend this tour!
The whole tour was amazing, the best thing in we did in sofia. Great nature and the guide phillip really makes you feel comfortabel and he is doing it with a passion. He is very kind and knows everything about bulgaria and especially the region of sofia. I would definitely recommend it to everyone Who is visiting Sofia!

Great ride, it snowed a lot the day before which made the ride even more fun! The guide was very professional and super cool! I highly recommend
Thank you
Great and experienced guide. Fantastic experience and highly recommend for tourists staying in Sofia. The tour included enough breaks to make it a relaxed walk.
