Descripción
Rinda homenaje a los soldados que lucharon en la II Guerra Mundial en las playas de Normandía en esta visita por la tarde a la playa de Omaha y Pointe du Hoc desde Bayeux. Visite los sitios del famoso campo de batalla del día D mientras escucha los sangrientos acontecimientos que tuvieron lugar allí, y termine con una visita guiada al cementerio y monumento conmemorativo americano de Normandía y su centro de visitantes en un acantilado con vistas al océano Atlántico. Our guide gave us an extremely personalized tour through the places of Normandy Beach. She was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the area and provided us with a fantastic experience.
Wonderful experience! We took the 2.5 h sncf train ride from Paris to Bayeux where Faustin picked us up. He was on time, professional, knowleadgable and charming. Loved our half day tour. We learned a lot from Faustin. We were back at the train station around 18:30 with an hour to spare before our return trip to Paris. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful experience on our tour. Our guide Pauline was a wealth of knowledge and extremely kind and accommodating. Everything was so organized and seamless. We learned so much and she welcomed any questions along the way. She even stopped at a grocery for us to grab some food for the train on our way home.
Very nice tour. Margo was knowledgeable and very nice. Van was a bit dated with the A/C not reaching the back and having the windows open made it hard to hear her but other than that it was ok.
Lucy was an amazing tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable about the D-Day events and history leading up to the landing. She provided history on the towns we drove through and the surrounding area. I can’t recommend enough. Thanks Lucy!

Loved the entire experience and our tour guide was great! I believe his name was David, who had tons of information about the region and the events of D-Day. It was amazing to hear the story of the operation and also the history of the Normandy region. It was also amazing to see the Flag Ceremony they had at the American Cemetery and Memorial. Overall, worth it as an American to visit such a historic event in our History and the sacrifices that were made.
The half day tour included 3 stops and they were incredible. Our tour guide, Lucy, not only had beautiful, long fingernails and could park on a dime, but she was so pleasant and knowledgeable!! We really enjoyed her presentation (it was like she had years of theatrical training 😉)! Seriously, she was a sweetheart! The sights were AMAZING!!! The tour gave us a new level of appreciation for what took place here all those years ago. Thank you to all the soldiers.
We should have known, but there didn't feel like much to see. We were pretty bored. But I don’t blame our guide. What is there really to jazz up Normandie? Beaches, cemetery, lots of death and sadness. Not much that can be done.
Very interesting and educational your with detailed military facts. The guide was entertaining and engaging. The subject matter is not suitable for younger kids.
