Itinerario

I had a great time going around Cairo with Marina. She was very knowledgeable and took very good care of us. It was a great way to see the city during the evening, eat some good food, and learn more about Cairo!
Marina gave us an excellent tour of downtown Cairo while explaining to us some of the history and culture of the city. She was well-informed and you could tell she has a true passion for her city and culture.
Great tour! Highly recommend! I enjoyed so much time with Marwa. She was so friendly and showed me around streets in the city center. She was so knowledgeable and it was pleasure getting to know a local. We got to taste delicious food, juice and ice cream! It felt like hanging out with a friend:)
Our three-hour adventure through downtown Cairo gave us a fascinating insight into the history of Cairo and the everyday life of a modern Cairo citizen. Our guide Maged was friendly, knowledgable and welcoming to our small group—me, my wife and 14 y.o. son. We enjoyed fresh juice, icecream, and local favourite koshary as we ambled our way across town by foot and subway, watching Cairo come alive as a shopping and nightlife destination as the sun went down. There is more to Cairo than the pyramids.
We just came back from our downtown Cairo tour with Nesma. She was a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Had a terrific dinner of koshari.
Ahmed did an amazing job of showing me around Cairo. Not only did he have interesting facts about Cairo, but also had deep discussion about Cairo and the culture. It was an enlightening and educational experience. I recommend to all. ☺️
Ahmed led us on a fantastic walking tour of part of Cairo. We rode the metro for one stop, walked across the bridge to Tahrir circle, ate at a koshary restaurant (delicious!), and had some fantastic ice cream. Ahmed knows his Cairo history and it was great hearing his stories about the Arab Spring. We talked non-stop for four hours! We needed help with getting water, getting cash from an ATM, and he helped us with the Uber driver back. I absolutely recommend this tour, and in general, Intrepid Travel (parent company)!
I also did this tour (different day) and absolutely loved it! It was such a great way to experience the heart of Cairo beyond the usual tourist spots. It was just the guide, Ahmed, and I, which made it feel really personal and relaxed. We chatted a lot about the city’s history and daily life, both past and present. There was lots of walking, but it was well balanced with food stops along the way to rest and enjoy some delicious local snacks. Was fascinating to see the change over the few hours, as the streets filled with people shopping and socialising before the main day off (Friday) of the week.
Nice experience to see Cairo from local presective. Our guide Michael was very responsive and thoughtful. Even you’re walk for 3.5 hours, he gives us a lot of food and treats in between so you won’t get hungry. We’re really like the koshary! Also, a little metro ride is nice additional experience for the kids😀
Mariam was an excellent guide, with a very pleasant manner and good knowledge of Egyptian and Cairo history. The walk is an easy pace, and covers the key areas of downtown. It includes a metro ride and a meal of koshary - a local speciality.
