El Museo y Memorial Hector Pieterson es un sitio del patrimonio nacional no lejos del lugar donde le dispararon a Héctor, de 13 años, el 16 de junio de 1976 durante el Levantamiento de Soweto, que hoy es un símbolo de resistencia a la brutalidad del gobierno del apartheid.

What an unforgettable tour! Mo was an outstanding guide, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. His storytelling made everything come to life, and he created such a relaxed atmosphere where we could ask as many questions as we wanted. We came away with a much deeper understanding of South Africa and its people. Definitely one of the best experiences of our trip so far. If you’re looking for a guide who gives you more than just the usual tourist experience, Mo is the one!

Byron showed us around Soweto. Saw the upper, middle and lower class areas - went for a walk in the lower class area, visited a preschool and met his daughter. We went to Nelson Mandelas house, Hector Pietersen museum and Regina Mundi church. Byron was a great guide, and we came away with a much better understanding of Soweto.
