Con cientos de templos dentro de las fronteras de la ciudad, uno no puede ver todos. Cuidadosamente elegido desde la importancia hasta simplemente impresionante, nuestro recorrido entre los lugares de interés budista en Bangkok incluye una vista rápida de la atmósfera local de la capital. Admira la increíble estatua de Buda dorado de 5,5 toneladas en Wat Traimit, ubicado en el barrio chino de Bangkok. Hogar de la imagen de Buda de oro sólido más grande del mundo, mide 15 pies de altura, esta estatua de 700 años tiene una historia interesante. Al ofrecer este recorrido tanto por la mañana como por la tarde, nuestro guía y conductor lo recogen de su hotel en Bangkok durante 4 horas para tener una impresión de los templos más impresionantes de Bangkok. Nuestro recorrido comienza en el templo con el invaluable Buda de Oro. Ubicado en el próspero distrito de Chinatown de Bangkok, Wat Trimitr (también llamado Wat Traimit) es mejor conocido como el hogar de la imagen de Buda de oro macizo más grande del mundo. Con una altura de 15 pies y un peso aproximado de 5.5 toneladas, esta estatua de 700 años tiene una historia interesante.
Conduciendo por Chinatown, llegaremos en breve a los terrenos de Wat Po. Este gran y extenso templo está junto al enclave del Gran Palacio y contiene un gigantesco Buda Reclinado chapado en oro, de unos 46 metros de largo y 15 metros de alto, con suelas de nácar bellamente incrustadas. Considerado como uno de los templos más famosos del mundo, Wat Pho también es considerado como el primer centro de educación pública y a veces se lo llama "la primera universidad de Tailandia".
Finalmente, nos detenemos en Wat Benjamaborpitr o también llamado Templo de Mármol Blanco, uno de los mejores ejemplos de arquitectura tailandesa y que destaca por su elegante fachada de mármol blanco. Diseñado por el principal arquitecto tailandés de la época, el príncipe Narissaranuwatwong, el templo fue construido con mármol italiano importado. Dentro de la capilla principal, se encuentra la imagen de Buda más cautivadora del país. Después de esta introducción a los templos budistas tailandeses, lo llevamos de regreso a su hotel.

We took a family trip and visited this serious agency for the second time. It was their CFA travel representatives from Paris with Émilie who was in charge of our file, attentive and very responsive. With the time difference, it's good to have a contact in France. Clearly specify your wishes for this type of trip in order to be sure not to miss anything along the way, there is therefore some preparation work to do anyway and do not hesitate to call the agency to be sure that on each step everything is ok. For a first trip to Thailand you can trust them.
We combined this afternoon tour (Wat Trimitr - Wat Pho - Wat Benchamapophit) with a morning tour of the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, so we got to see everything we wanted to do in Bangkok city in one day. Our tour guide was Ben, a great guide who speaks good English. She even found us refuge in a wonderful, elegant café (the sole customers!) when we had to take a break from the tour during an afternoon monsoon downpour! Thoroughly recommended tour from Asian Trails (we had a private tour), where the guide gives you enough time and information at every temple.
Ben, who was our tour guide was great! She was very informative and gave us great details on Thailand temples and culture! We learned a lot 10/10 would recommend!
Our tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable about the sites and the surrounding neighborhoods. But P2000 (about US$40) per person is way too expensive for just a morning tour consisting of three temples.

Scheduled a private, half-day tour, with hotel pick up. They were prompt, courteous and well informed. The guide seemed to know the “back ways” to get in, and the driver was adept at navigating what seemed like harrowing Bangkok traffic. A good experience that we recommend to others.

City not to be missed full of unique beauties and sad contradictions given by the poverty conditions of a large part of the metropolitan population. 1) day by taxi you take us to the far northwest of the city in one of the many floating markets (not every day) you embark and descend one of the many tributaries to the Chao Phraya the main river that divides the city in two where the main and wonderful temples are located on both sides. 2) day, visit the markets from the Covered and characteristic local to the one in the middle of the Chinese quarter and x finish that with the evening train. 3) dedicated to museums and shopping. Moving with TukTuk is practical and you always have to negotiate the price. The rest as you please.

It's nice to go after, you better take the line bus that stops near that temple. THE monk you often see praying there. A little tip go for a walk right outside. IS ALSO A LOT TO SEE . shops street is near it .

Hopelijk heb je en je mede-reiziger(s) genoten van onze service. Er zijn inderdaad enorm veel tempels in Bangkok: deze excursie neemt 3 van de mooiste mee waar erg veel over is te vertellen. Picked up at our hotel by a very knowledgeable tour guide. Just the two of us in a private car made the afternoon very enjoyable. We covered the three temples listed online as well as some information regarding the city of Bangkok. Would highly recommend the tour for anyone interested in knowing more about the history and culture of Bangkok.
