Excursión de esnórquel por la tarde a Coral Gardens en Four Winds Maui

It was fine. It was an afternoon trip and it was really windy, which you can’t control for that. The crew seemed tired. A couple guys were awesome, and super helpful. I’ve been on many snorkeling trips and I’d give this average.

My family and I have done snorkel tours before. They were incredibly fun. But this is something entirely different. Between the trip itself, the delicious food, the unbelievable sites under the water, and – most importantly – the unparalleled hospitality of the crew, this was truly a singular experience. You will not be wasting your money by traveling on this boat. You’ll be eager to tip them more!

You never need help. They take care of everyone every step of the way. From friendly crew members asking if we needed anything. Clear and helpful instructions to reminders not to touch the reef. 1 inch of coral takes one year to regrow. Politely reminding how fragile the reef is and how to respect the wildlife. The lunch was absolutely amazing. Fresh fish grilled just before lunch for fish tacos with multiple salad and side choices included in the price. This was the best part of our trip. Just an average dinner in Hawaii is the same price of the trip for 2! If I owned a company doing this I would want it done exactly the same. Make sure to bring cash to tip. It is one of the few times I was happy to tip after all the "tip fatigue" we have experienced over the last couple years they truly deserve it.

We loved our experience! Great staff, amazing food, catamaran was clean and snorkeling process was very organized and planned well. No negatives from our group! We enjoyed it immensely. Thank you Four Winds!

I went on this boat snorkel tour by myself to the Coral Gardens near Olowalu and had a very solid experience. The crew was professional and organized, and we had a generous amount of time in the water, about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I rented a wetsuit vest from them because I had forgotten my own wetsuit, and I strongly recommend doing this. For $10, it made a noticeable difference in comfort and allowed me to stay in the water longer. The Coral Gardens were in good condition, with a nice mix of sandy bottom areas and dense coral sections. Marine life was active and varied. I saw a lobster walking around, at least five different butterflyfish, schools of black triggerfish (durgeon), and many of the fish you would typically expect to see on Maui. There is a known turtle cleaning station in the area, although I did not personally locate it on this snorkel. As an added bonus, the crew spotted a whale and calf on the way out to the snorkel site, as well as multiple whales on the return trip, which made the experience even better. I went on the afternoon tour and felt it was safe, with decent visibility throughout. Overall, a well-run trip with good snorkeling conditions and a professional crew.

We had a perfect day for our afternoon tour! The boat is beautiful and well cared for. Plenty of room for everyone and no cramming in. The staff was fantastic and every need was taken care of. Beautiful snorkeling, amazing lunch, and we saw so many whales! It was crazy! I can’t think of anything that would’ve made the day better. Thanks so much for a great experience!

Great experience- food was delicious, captain did a great job looking for whales, all crew members were polite and helpful.

Great crew. The floating platform with glass bottom was nice for the little kids to be able to partake in snorkeling as it’s open water.
