La excursión al Monte Moisés y al Monasterio de Santa Catalina es la manera perfecta de experimentar la majestuosa belleza del Sinaí. Este emocionante recorrido de un día comienza con una caminata por el desierto bíblico, donde se dice que Moisés llegó a la montaña de Dios. Allí serás recompensado con una impresionante vista general de las montañas al amanecer. Después de su caminata, lo llevarán a visitar el hermoso e histórico Monasterio de Santa Catalina, que es uno de los monasterios más antiguos que existen continuamente. En el interior, tendrá la oportunidad de aprender más sobre la historia de este lugar especial, que alberga algunos de los primeros documentos del cristianismo, el judaísmo y el Islam. Al final de su visita, se irá apreciando tanto la belleza natural como el rico patrimonio cultural que Egipto tiene para ofrecer. Este recorrido es adecuado para todas las edades y niveles de condición física, por lo que hay algo para que todos disfruten. Si no desea caminar, puede optar por un paseo en camello hasta la montaña.

Su viaje comenzará a las aproximadamente. 8:30 p. m., donde nuestro AC Minibus lo recogerá de su hotel en Sharm y comenzará el viaje hacia el Parque Nacional de St Catharine.
En el Monasterio de Santa Catalina, verás el monasterio habitado continuamente más antiguo de Egipto, donde verás impresionantes frescos, una mezquita, una iglesia, la zarza ardiente, íconos, manuscritos y otros tesoros. Ubicado en lo alto del desierto del Sinaí, este monasterio medieval fue construido durante el Imperio bizantino, ha sido hogar de monjes desde su fundación y sigue siendo una próspera comunidad cristiana en la actualidad.
La experiencia de senderismo en el Monte Sinaí le permitirá explorar los picos más altos del Monte Sinaí y contemplar el magnífico Desierto Oriental, mientras contempla el mejor amanecer. Durante la caminata, puede optar por un paseo en camello.
Después del recorrido por el monasterio, comenzaremos nuestro viaje de regreso a Sharm El Sheikh, donde nuestro AC Minibus lo dejará en su hotel.

The tour is excellent. It’s well organised. The guides are very friendly and make sure everyone gets up Sinai at their own pace. The views were spectacular. Maka is an excellent tour operator.

I have been on two trips with FunN Sun and they were the most horrible trips in my life. The guide who accompanied us up the mountain abused my daughter and I complained to the police. It was the worst experience for us. On another trip to the sea, the dive leaders also tried to abuse my friend by isolating her alone on the boat because she was not feeling fit to dive. When I told the Fun n Sun manager about this, he told me that I should never have complained! That's the last straw. Egyptian law is very strict with this kind of misdeeds. I invite you to file a complaint and above all to boycott this agency.
Hey Naima, We are really sorry that you had an unpleasant experience on your trip. After investigation I have found that you had previously removed your review after being contacted by our operational manager and she explained how the issue was not our fault and issued a full refund. We are not really sure why you re-added the review however let me clarify the situation again. The guide that harassed your daughter is a bedouin guide that is appointed at random by the Egyptian authorities in St. Catharines and this is the regular procedure with all tourists that hike mount moses. With that being said we already took all legal procedures with you and issue a transfer for you to Nuwaiba and back free of charge.
