Itinerario

Marek was a wonderful and kind tour guide. He gave interesting facts and was accommodating to our small group. We drove from Vienna to Hallstatt (Marek picked us up at each of our hotels/Airbnb’s) and stopped about halfway at a gas station for facilities, a stretch and refreshments. The tour at Hallstatt was short but informative and we spent the remaining 2 hours solo, agreeing to a set time to meet back at our parking spot. The drive back matched the drive in. Wonderful experience, beautiful town and history. Highly recommend!
Day before the tour we received a message through Viator from the tour company cancelling the tour. No reasoning, just an offer of another tour that was not at all similar. We requested contact information, they never responded. Viator was great in working with us and we were refunded quickly. The tour company that handles this tour is nonresponsive, unprofessional and we do not recommend.
It was an amazing place to visit. Definitely worth booking the tour. Richard and Maros were amazing guides. The drive and bus were super comfy.
Nice town ,crowded small Nice guide But just consider you gonna be in a bus for 8 h for 3 h enjoy From 7:00 am to 7 almost If you have enough days
A long drive about 4 hours back & forth, stay in Hallstatt for 3 hours. Surprisingly, it’s superbly worth for the drive, so beautiful and peaceful there, like a quiet solemn stand alone place. Must go! Prettiest!
Overall, we were somewhat satisfied with the experience, but there are important points future travelers should know. This tour used to include Salzburg together with Hallstatt, but it was later changed to Hallstatt only. Unfortunately, Hallstatt was extremely crowded. We had to wait in very long lines almost everywhere, and during the winter season we ended up spending around 2.5 hours outdoors in the cold. Given these conditions, including Salzburg on the same day would have been a much more sensible and balanced itinerary.
We had to leave for Hallstat from Vienna, the bus left on time. Upon entering the mic we were given a bag with water and snacks. The very attentive guide explained the different points of interest along the way. The incredibly beautiful place. All barbaric on the return, super punctual also on the return.
Smooth transition and ride to Hallstatt. Very informational and seemless through the whole trip- recommend to anyone!
8 hours of traveling in a bus. 4 hours non-stop. There should be at least one stop to stretch legs. The person who spoke to us on the bus needs some education on Austria so he can speak about the country and the region. It was disappointing to travel that long and learn nothing. The tour of Hallstatt was very short. The guide was good but 35 minutes was very short. Hallstatt itself was beautiful.
Pickup was well organized and directions were easy to follow. Nice big comfy bus with a bathroom. The town was beautiful and a pleasure to walk around. Plenty of stores and places to eat. Breathtaking views all around. Would recommend visiting this place and using this tour.
