Conocida como la "ruta del whisky", la ruta Truly Machame es la ruta más popular y tiene una tasa de éxito muy alta para llegar a la cima. Ofrece características hermosas y naturales del paisaje. Comienza con un agradable día de caminata a través de la selva tropical y tiene un agradable aumento de altitud constante cada día. El alojamiento en el camino de subida y bajada es estrictamente camping (carpas móviles) únicamente. La Ruta Machame lo lleva a Lava Tower el día 3 y luego lo lleva a pasar la noche en Barranco Camp. Este ascenso y descenso intermedio es el secreto para una aclimatación exitosa y es la razón por la cual esta ruta tiene una alta tasa de éxito. La ruta Machame normalmente se completa en un mínimo de 6 días/5 noches en la montaña.

Our 7-day Machame Route trek on Kilimanjaro was not only challenging but also very emotional with Goldfish Tours. The mountain welcomed us with beauty and challenges from day one. Long hikes, cold nights, and slow steps became our daily routine. There were times we doubted ourselves, especially when breathing felt heavy at high altitude. But the encouragement we received from friends and guide kept our motivation strong. The emotional part, when we finally reached Uhuru Peak, tears and happiness took over. We hugged, we smiled, and we proudly celebrated a shared victory. Kilimanjaro taught us courage, teamwork, and patience. The Goldfish team has always taught us that the key to success on this mountain is to take it slow and walk it.
