We arrived to the meeting point at 10:30 for our pick up at 10:50 in front of the terminal’s building. Instruction says Your company name on the tag. We assumed Viatour or our last name. Nowhere was it said it will be Corfu tours or something like that. So they left and we had to call service desk in USA to find out from them that tour operator left without trying to contact us. Expending refund. Will see how they will process it as they want tour operator approval.
Great excursion with great people. The beach was beautiful! We rented chairs that were $90 for a pair. Everything was smooth and comfortable!
Ashwini was a great tour guide. Not a lot of time at each stop but very scenic ride
This is simply a transfer from ship to beach, beach to town and town to ship. There was confusion at meeting point as rep was holding up a sign saying “Corfu” when the info given was an open top bus company. To be clear we were not anticipating an open top bus but were expecting to find someone holding a sign with the operators name on. Our driver was friendly and flexible with timings per our request.
Corfu was busier than I expected. The beach we went to was busy and small however we took a boat tour so not much time for the beach. Was interesting but not fabulous.
Bus was fine but it was not explained exactly where the pick the bus up after our beach tour, which was confusing.
Expensive for what we were able to do and see. 2 hours at a crowded beach that is not so magnificent after all. 1 hour and 30 minutes in the old town is not enough, especially since we had to eat during that time. Personally, I find that I did not see much for the price. Moreover, it is more complicated to find the bus when leaving the boat.
Very good excursion, the guide is very kind but only speaks English.
Beware this tour company is very hard to find and not for people who are easily confused or timid. I, as well as numerous other guests, found our guide by randomly asking multiple tour guides if they knew anything about the tour. Communication said look we should look for “Sights of Corfu” sign and the receipt comes from “Open Top Bus hellas M.E.P.E.” A WhatsApp message that came 1 hr before tour only identified themselves as Panos and said meeting time was 9 am at the cruise terminal. No further information. When we finally found our guide he was holding up a sign saying“Cofu Tour Gray Line.” Once checked in, we were told to wait in a large group of people and wait for the guide to hold up the sign and follow him. It’s an absolute miracle that we saw him leave to board the bus because he just held the sign up level to his head and took off abruptly. Panos was a good tour guide, the company just was disorganized.
Met our guide at exit of Cruise terminal, just outside first set of doors. They were holding a sign Corfu City Tour. No Viator sign at all.
