Hoy visitamos el Volcán Pacaya, uno de los 33 volcanes de Guatemala, ubicado entre los departamentos de Escuintla y Guatemala. Permanece activo permanentemente, ofreciendo un espectáculo espectacular para quienes lo miran cerca o desde la distancia (principalmente de noche)

Por la mañana, será recogido en su hotel para trasladarlo al Volcán Pacaya. Este volcán es uno de los 33 volcanes de Guatemala, ubicado entre los departamentos de Escuintla y Guatemala. Permanece activo de forma permanente, ofreciendo un espectáculo espectacular para quienes lo observan de cerca o de lejos (principalmente de noche). Debido a su constante actividad, el volcán ha experimentado varios cambios en su formación, permitiendo la creación de varios picos y fumarolas además de la apertura principal, entre los que se destaca el pico Mackenney. Por la tarde será trasladado de regreso a su hotel en la ciudad de Guatemala.

Recommend the hike. It’s not long (option to go on horse) and scenic. Expect drive from town due to traffic around two hours each way. Only reason I didn’t give 5 star is because the guide was moving at a pace too fast for some of the people in the group. I ended up walking with the last person for their safety. Roasting marshmallows using volcano heat was fun.

This a very good tour package! This is the only package I can find that offers a day trip to Pacaya volcano from Guatemala city with very good value. The company had very good communication with me and driver is good and drop me to place I want. For those just what to see the volcano and do not want to stay in Antigua, this is the best option. It save time and save money. Finally, it is not company's issue, the local guide walk faster than I can. On one occasion, he did not wait me at a junction, I did not now which way to go.
