Itinerario

The Guide was on time at the hotel lobby and the van that picked us up new and very roomy and comfortable. For the price charged, the package was pick up and return to hotel @ 20 mins each way. Once we accessed the Grand Palace the tour was relatively short of less than 2 hours including solo walk around the key highlights as pointed out by the guide. Expensive compared to other options on offer but suited us as we had time to go do other things.

The Palace is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. It is useful to have a guide and I am unsure if you can get an audio guide. This was quite an expensive tour for an hour and a half at the Palace though. Our guide Rachan was very nice but we did only get quite basic information. It might have been good to get more in depth information but sometimes the basics is okay. What Rachan lacked in information he made up in his positive and friendly attitude. He would do anything for you and helped us find the location for our next tour scheduled after the Palace. He also gave us lots of opportunities for photos of ourselves and the Palace. The hotel pick up and if required drop off was a great help.
Hi RaeAnn, Thank you for sharing your experience on the Bangkok Grand Palace Tour. We’re glad to hear you found the Palace beautiful and enjoyed the convenience of the hotel pick-up and drop-off. It’s wonderful that Rachan’s friendly attitude and willingness to assist added value to your visit, even though you would have preferred more in-depth information. Your feedback is very helpful, and we’ll use it to improve our guiding services for future guests. We hope to welcome you on another tour soon! Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)
Santa is a good tour guide. She had lots of information to share. The ride was comfortable to and fro. The Grand Palace was chock full of tourist groups, so not a great experience. Even though I apparently failed the dress code (tight long pants), but there were females in crop tops, spaghetti strap tops, above knee dresses walking around. Maybe if we could have gone even earlier, the crowd would have been less. We were picked at 830am, and the opening is 830.
Dear Betty, We're delighted to hear you had a great experience on our Bangkok's Grand Palace Tour! It's fantastic that you enjoyed exploring this iconic landmark with Santa, and we appreciate you choosing our service with hotel pick-up for added convenience. I am sure you are aware that the Grand Palace is the highest visited tourist attraction in Thailand and it will be busy. Also for the dress code, this is enforced by the palace and I cant speak for other guests that you saw, Thanks, Nick (IAsia Thailand Online)

Our tour began with a pickup directly at our hotel door, unlike some other tours that may require you to travel to a pickup point somewhere else in traffic-mad Bangkok. We were greeted at our hotel by our tour guide, Eddy. Another person drove the mini-van while Eddy conducted the entire tour in perfect English. He is friendly & courteous. He is very passionate about Thai history with the amount of detail and information he pointed out to us about the history of Thailand, the old Bangkok city; the history of the Thai monarchy; the architectural designs & purposes of various buildings inside and adjacent to the Grand Palace, including some of the many ornaments and statutes that dot all around the Palace; and the history of the Emerald Buddha Temple. At the end of the tour, we were given a bttle of cold water. This was a very well planned fully guided tour. Judging from the size of the mini-van, I think the number of people is limited to about 8 participants per van. We booked the tour on the day before for 4 people.
