El punto de encuentro es el punto de partida más natural para un recorrido, junto a la antigua puerta de la ciudad y la columna romana que marca el inicio de la calle principal.
La primera parada es junto a la iglesia que esconde uno de los tesoros religiosos más importantes y venerados del país. A pocos pasos, probaremos el plato de pescado local maridado con vino blanco regional.
A su paso por la plaza principal, centro de la vida urbana de Zadar desde la época medieval donde tomó forma la identidad urbana de la ciudad, y donde se abrieron los primeros bares ya a principios del siglo XVIII.
Visitaremos el mercado local, donde los lugareños venden pescado capturado diariamente y verduras cultivadas localmente. Junto a ella se encuentran los restos de una antigua iglesia, ahora transformada en un fresco y único jardín de vinos. Allí degustaremos prosciutto y queso locales, maridados con un rico vino tinto.
Caminando por la calle principal del casco antiguo - Kalelarga - que se ha caminado desde la época romana.
Nos detendremos en el sitio cultural más importante de la ciudad, el foro romano más grande del este del Adriático. Escucharás historias de la vida urbana en la antigüedad y aprenderás sobre la dinámica historia de Zadar
Las estrechas calles del barrio de Varoš ofrecen una visión clara de la vibrante cultura urbana de Zadar. Fundada en el siglo XVI por familias trabajadoras, sigue siendo una parte animada de la ciudad. Aquí, probaremos ćevapi y disfrutaremos de cerveza artesanal elaborada localmente por mujeres.

Excellent food tour. Husband is a chef so we try to do one of these in new cities. Got to experience nice restaurants and smaller ones for street food/bites. A little wine glass holder souvenir came with the tour. Would highly recommend doing this again!

Absolutely stand out tour - a wonderful way to see Zadar, get some history about the city, and sample some spectacular food and drink. Ines, our guide was really friendly, informative, and fun and got everyone involved. Tour was really well planned, from the route through town to the choice of food and drink pairings. Some nice little surprises along the way, and enough tike to finish your drinks too.

Amazing city walk with a phenomenal guide. Just enough information about Zadar's long history. Several stops with food and wine at nice restaurants. We were only three participants so the evening was longer than expected and filled with nice conversations about big and small. Don't miss this tour!

A lovely walk with a phenomenal guide! Nice stop with food and wine at well-chosen restaurants. We were only three participants and that made the evening filled with nice and meaningful conversations about everything. Highly recommended!

Dina is a ray of sunshine! You felt completely comfortable with her from the very first contact. She is so likable and talks about the locals, and you can tell how she lives this in "her" city as well. Visiting local restaurants and the tour of Zadar was not boring; we laughed a lot. Together with an English couple (Rachel and John, best wishes), we properly ended the evening. We met Dina again later at Cafe Novi; she recognized us immediately, and we spoke briefly. This shows how she truly embodies this commitment. Thank you, Dina!

Our tour guide, Ivana, was terrific! She shared so much information ( in a wonderfully abbreviated manner) about Croatia & Zadar. Her insights provided us with a good overview so we could have an understanding of the culture and lifestyle in Croatia. We enjoyed the food bites and beverages included in the tour too, but the highlight for us was what we learned from Ivana. Highly recommend this tour for knowledge and tasting ‘bits’ of truly local food. If you take the 6:00 PM tour you will be able to scout out a place to enjoy dinner afterwords.
