We were lucky that we had the tour alone as a family. That was, of course, a luxury! As sad as the whole topic was, the tour was just as interesting. I can highly recommend the tour.

My Tour guide Rio was PHENOMENAL… I simply cannot put my daughter and my experience into words! Her attention to detail was incredible… she explained everything with a big smile on her face… she was extremely patient with my daughter, she had kind words as my daughter- who is 11 years old started getting tired as the day went on… There are not enough words … this tour to Hiroshima was definitely the highlight of my trip to Japan and it was all thanks to Rio!! I Highly Recommend her. She is a keeper!!

It was a great day with Kaori!!! She was a terrific guide, spoke excellent English! She was a worth of knowledge, and it was a very hot day and she did an excellent job of keeping us in the shade. We saw the Peace Memorial, the Hypocenter of the atomic bomb, made paper cranes, went to the top of Orizuru Tower and took the slide all the way down from the 7th floor. It was a terrific day!! Thank Kaori!!
Very fun and educational, tour was a reasonable length, everything was an easy walk, and food was good :)
Competent and interesting guide merci Kaori

Kaz was lovely he is a man passionate about his city and about his cities message "Peace across the world". Though the history of the city is heavy and at sometimes can be almost suffocating Kaz made what could have been a downer of a day bright. The tour perfectly wound around downtown Hiroshima showing some of the well know sites of bomb damage and lesser known areas. The museum was a beautiful and poignant display of the trails and growth the city has been through and the winding path to the A-Bomb Dome showed us the beauty and resilience of the people. The crane building and dropping at the Orizuru Tower was a delight and I loved getting to be a kid going down the slide at the end. The lunch was delicious and a perfect way to end a great tour. The group was small and easily manageable as the museum can be hard to navigate with the crowds and because it was small it felt intimate and like the city was a secret being shown to us. Ending close to the tower was also ideal as my partner and I went on to do the art stamp Rally to see other parts of Hiroshima (I recommend that too). Due to the content this tour is more suited to adults though it's notnsonfar that children couldn't walk it.
