Great experience- loved our tour guide Michael - he was full of historic facts & local food insights. He was a great host & made the time together feel like a fun gathering of friends instead of an awkward outing w strangers. Good way to taste local favorites & tour Munich old town & get some of the local vibe.
We really enjoyed our time on the tour with Danielle! She was very insightful and very easy to understand. We are a groups of college girls and really enjoyed the food (expect sausage, pretzel, juice, cheese and a few other things). It ended up just being our group on the tour which was also really nice!! We had someone gluten free in our group and they had to sit a few things out but overall were able to eat most of it. We loved going around the market and gained some guidance for later. We even went back to one of the shops we sampled from! Awesome experience would recommend!
Danielle was a fantastic guide and was very knowledgeable and personable, we were lucky enough to have a small group which allowed for a very personalized experience. We got a great tour of the Munich marketplace and got to taste several delicious dishes that I otherwise would have likely walked past or not thought to try in addition to the more famous dishes, and it was great to meet the owners of the various stands. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Munich.
Danielle was a great guide on all things Munich and the Munich food scene. The food we sampled was really good and we got a good tour if the market.
Ulrich was a great tour guide! He was very informative and made adjustments for our small group. My complaint is that the food options were underwhelming. My favorite stop was a juice bar. It was delicious and the shop owner was very engaging, but I don't think that it had anything to do with Bavarian food. I also appreciated that the heartiest item was served first. I actually think that there is some logistic issue with hosting a food tour in the market. I read reviews for lots of Munich food tours and they all have similar complaints (great guides, so-so food options). At least this tour was among the cheaper. Glad that I didn't pay twice the money for a similar experience.
Truly enjoyed this tour with Danielle providing history and background to the areas and sites we walked through while enjoying tasty bites from Bavaria.
Great history lesson and delicious food. We tried food we didn’t even know about. Ulrike was a great guide and made the tour special.
The tour guide was wonderful. The food was skimpy- a very good sandwich, a cold fishcake, a small juice, a small portion of fruit, cheese which was good and ice cream, which was very good.
Excellent tour led by a well informed guide. Lots of preparation put into the run up to the tour. Highly recommend this to anyone planning to visit Munich.
The tour guide was informative and energetic. The food was pretty good. Would have preferred more German food, but overall very nice.
