Excursión a los cráteres de la cumbre del Etna
Descripción
Este recorrido le permitirá acercarse a la zona de los cráteres de la cumbre del Etna caracterizada por la típica actividad volcánica con emisiones de gas y azufre. Con el guía naturalista irás a la entrada del teleférico del Etna y desde aquí tomarás el teleférico que te llevará a 2500mt., desde allí serás transportado en autobús 4×4 a una altitud de 2800mt. donde encontrarás al guía vulcanológico de montaña que te mostrará los cráteres de la erupción del 2002 y al mismo tiempo te encontrarás cara a cara con los cráteres humeantes de la cumbre. También se podrá elegir la opción sólo con la subida en teleférico hasta 2500 metros. Al finalizar el recorrido en altura, el guía te mostrará otros elementos peculiares del Etna ubicados a menor altura para finalmente llevarte a una finca ubicada en Zafferana Etnea para degustar los productos típicos del lugar.

Excursión que le permitirá observar de cerca los cráteres activos del Etna caracterizados por emisiones de gas y azufre. - Recogida en un alojamiento o punto de encuentro acordado - Visita a la zona de la cumbre (accesible en teleférico) a una altitud de 2900 metros con un guía de montaña volcánica - Visita a una cueva de flujo de lava (se proporcionan cascos y antorchas) - Visita del famoso flujo de lava de 1991/93 que llegó a las puertas de la ciudad de Zafferana; - Degustación de productos típicos en una empresa local de Zafferana. - Dejar en el alojamiento o punto de encuentro.

Our Mt Etna Summit excursion was nothing short of phenomenal. Our tour guide , Zelia spoke perfect English and was a knowledgeable and kind guide that shared loads of information from native plant species to geological facts about the volcano and its history.
