Excellent tour with fantastic driver/tour guide!

The trip was outstanding. We saw everything promised, and our tour guide, Gary, was an excellent driver and extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to combine a tour with history, facts about each site, music, an authentic lunch experience, and humour…, and keep us on time. I cannot express how impressed I was with this tour and the value for the price. Take this tour! You won’t regret it.

Two amazing tours in Galway - ask for Anthony!

In my opinion, Ireland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and these two tours around Galway lived up to that. Cliffs of Moher & the Burren Tour I had to change my ticket date, and the staff were very flexible and friendly about it. This part of Ireland is absolutely stunning. What made the trip so enjoyable was our driver/guide, Anthony (not an easy job navigating those narrow roads!). He's got a great sense of humor and shares his love for his country through his knowledge and stories along the way. Connemara & Kylemore Abbey Tour (with Galway Tour Company) I booked a second tour, this time to Connemara and Kylemore Abbey. The scenery is breathtaking. And I was thrilled (for the second time ; yay!) to end up with Anthony as our guide again. In short: great tours, beautiful landscapes, and Anthony's humor and passion make the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Above and beyond to ensure a great experience!

The Galway Tour Company went above and beyond to ensure we had a great excursion. We were originally scheduled to go on the Aryran Island, Cliffs of Mohr tour but got mixed up and couldn’t find the right place. We called and Paula, from the office actually came and bought us to the correct location! Unfortunately we missed the bus but she was able to get us on the Cliffs of Mohr and Burren Tour. She really saved the day for us!! The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He had many interesting stories and facts about the history and culture of the area we were visiting. The bus was clean and well equipped. There was plenty of time to explore at every stop. The lunch in Doolin was great!

Spectacular Cliffs of Moher and more!

Tommy was our driver/guide and what a pleasant man. Gave some history, some anecdotes and some humor to the tour with stops along the way including an ancient burial site, the Dunguaire Castle, a pub in Doolin for lunch and of course The Cliffs. It was a glorious day of sunshine and warmth with little wind. Not the usual from what I’ve been told. But the weather made for some excellent photos. One last brief stop on the Atlantic Way heading back to Galway. A full day but easy and Tommy did a great job navigating the large bus through the narrow 2-way winding roads. Hats off to Tommy! Great day, great tour!

Great Day to see the Cliffs.

What a pleasant day in the bus visiting The Cliffs of Mohr. We had perfect clear sunny weather to see the cliffs. We stops at various photo stops along the way and had lunch at a nice pub in Doolin. Our bus driver Patrick was great. I would recommend this to anyone.

Perfect day

Thank you Garry for this fabulous energy and kindness! Garry was a fantastic and attentive guide who gave us an incredible day. Be careful, he is very talkative and sets the mood! The weather was very sunny and we had a completely pleasant day between the multiple very interesting stops, the delicious fish and chips from the Doolin pub, and the impressive cliffs! Also, be careful if you are prone to motion sickness because the roads taken by the bus are at times very narrow and winding with many curves... We recommend this excursion which was perfect from start to finish!

Awesome view, great tour guide!

Gary was awesome as the tour guide! He talked a lot but was all relative to where we were and what we were seeing while on the way to the cliffs. He was happy that we were able to see the cliffs as the previous days the guests were unable to see them, what a sight!! He handled the small windy roads with ease, he kept spirits lifted with fun little jokes through the ride!

wonderful

It was wonderful, specially Gary, our driver and trip narrator, he was amazing with his storytelling, as if he brought back the history alive with his narration, I will take the tour again if i ever visit Galway.

Gary was excellent.

This was a great trip. We were driven and entertained by our guide, a marvel of a man called Gary. He held a monologue going the entire way, telling us histories and anecdotes, pertaining to both the land, the people, the places, history and personal experience and superstition. A font of good cheer and valuable knowledge. I believe he translated the pulnabrone dolmen erroniously, but I was entertained the entire way. We stopped at the castle and the dolmen, and both were a treasure to experience. His stories about the peculiar landscape and the resulting culture was exciting. In the end, we came to the cliffs of moher, which is a wonder, obviously. We were there in summer, but as Gary said, it is best to visit from october to may, because the summer heat causes a lot of fog to amass. We still got an excellent view. Then we returned. We stopped once more to see the stone beach, which we could explore more in depth (though just for 15 minutes). When we returned to Galway, Gary recommended several very good pubs, after being asked about the live music scene in Galway, and every one of them was a treasure. 10/10, would go again.
