Our driver and guide, WanWan was awesome. He gave us options and took us to wonderful places. He made the tour really special.
Adi, our driver/guide picked us up promptly as arranged and took us to the Sasak village specializing in Weaving. Our guide there spoke very good English , was very knowledgeable about the weaving process and as a resident toured us around the village…behind the scenes. She was also a great photographer! We then visited a second sasak village which produced different types of weaving and had a tour by another knowledgeable English speaking guide who gave us a complete tour of his village with commentary. We drove to several beaches, surfing and swimming and a viewpoint to see the shoreline. Unfortunately Adis’ English was conversational and not adequate to answer general questions….leading us to use google translator and not ideal. It gave us a nice tour of the Island and we enjoyed meeting the locals who could speak with us.
Dear Ms. Wendy Simpson, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused during your tour. We appreciate your positive remarks about the knowledgeable guides in the Sasak villages and their excellent English-speaking skills. However, we understand the importance of clear communication with the driver, and we regret that the language barrier affected your overall experience. We are committed to improving our services, and your input is invaluable in helping us address areas for enhancement. Please be assured that we will take steps to ensure that our drivers receive language proficiency training to better assist our guests in the future. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and hope to have the opportunity to make it up to you on your next visit. Warm regards, Kresna Putra
