El hermoso paisaje de la Zona Escénica del Bosque de Piedra fue declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO en 2007. Esta atracción goza de gran reputación, tanto dentro de China como en el extranjero. El Parque Forestal de Piedra de Yunnan, a unos 90 km al este de Kunming, es un lugar turístico muy popular. Debido al gigantesco tamaño del parque, todavía es posible encontrar áreas menos visitadas y remotas, especialmente en los meses soleados de invierno. ¡Encuentra tu propio camino a través del laberinto de enormes pilares de piedra!Después visitará la región panorámica de Jiuxiang, que se encuentra en Jiuxiang Yi y el municipio autónomo de Hui del condado de Yiliang, a 45 minutos en coche del bosque de piedra. Es famosa por sus cuevas kársticas (alrededor de 100 en total, de las cuales se exploran más de 60), montañas, ríos, valles profundos, así como costumbres y culturas minoritarias. Este tour incluye bastantes escaleras. Por seguridad y comodidad, puede no ser adecuado para niños pequeños o viajeros de edad avanzada.

1,5 horas en coche a una de las maravillas más grandes de Yunnan, el bosque de piedra en el condado de Shilin. El tiempo y el tiempo han esculpido un laberinto kárstico masivo que se siente como si estuviera caminando a través de un bosque, con árboles de piedra ancestrales mirando hacia abajo. Cada formación rocosa que pasas tiene su propia historia conmovedora o leyenda emocionante, transmitida por los nativos que han vivido en esta área durante siglos. Los nativos pertenecen a la minoría Sani, una rama de la minoría étnica Yi, que todavía se puede encontrar dentro del parque, mezclándose cantando canciones populares o haciendo bordados.
Más tarde, veremos otra obra de arte hecha por la naturaleza, las cuevas de Jiuxiang, parte del sistema de grupos de cuevas más grande de China, con ríos, gargantas, cascadas, bosques, puentes de piedra natural y cualquier cosa que imagines que encontrarías en un país de hadas. Entra en las cuevas a través de un estrecho cañón verde y ver la entrada de las cuevas escondidas dentro de los bosques desde arriba, ya que vuela sobre él en el teleférico. El conductor le trae de vuelta al centro de Kunming después (aproximadamente 1,5 horas) y te deja de nuevo en su hotel.

Lo recogeremos de su hotel dentro de la segunda circunvalación de Kunming. Su guía turístico tendrá una bandera impresa "Maravillas de Yunnan". El recorrido termina en el hotel de los visitantes.

We went on a one day tour from Kunming to see the stone forest and the caves, incredible sights to see. I can highly recommend it. I contacted Katherine a couple of weeks before to ask if she could organise a driver for us for the day. We started on email first and switched to we chat. She was super helpful and so professional. Always very quick to respond and very accomodating. Thumbs up!! I can highly recommend her if you would like to book anything in Yunnan. Everything was detailed beforehand. Pick up from hotel etc. You can plan individually. We had a driver called Hao. He was very very friendly and helpful telling us exactly how to get the tickets. You can decide how long you want to stay at each place. Probably better to allow quite a bit of time for the stone forest as the area is huge.

Wonders of Yunnan was truly amazing! Throughout the entire journey, my guide was very professional and talkative, and even shared the story of Ashima during the visit to the Stone Forest. The car was also very comfortable, making it a highly enjoyable travel experience.

The natural wonders were incredible but our guide was really supportive of our enjoyment, taking us through quite areas where we could appreciate the stones without the noise and hub bub of the mass of photographers. Authentic place for lunch serving plentiful amounts of tasty local food. Was a great day out
