En este recorrido, tiene la oportunidad de visitar algunos de los sitios más interesantes, como Devil's Bridge, la selva tropical, así como de ver la belleza de la isla mientras conduce a través de algunos pueblos pintorescos, en ruta hacia el Parque Nacional Nelson's Dockyard, hogar del famoso puerto inglés, y el nombre de Horatio Nelson, quien sirvió en Antiqua en el 1700. Este tour es único porque brinda un conocimiento de primera mano de la isla después de visitar el Centro de Interpretación (si está abierto), donde se puede ver y escuchar la historia de Antigua y Barbuda.

Conduzca hasta Shirley Heights y pasee por las antiguas fortificaciones militares. Puede ver impresionantes paisajes escénicos a 360 grados. Una vista espectacular sobre English Harbour y Falmouth Harbour saluda a sus ojos y en un día despejado se pueden ver las islas vecinas de Montserrat y Guadalupe.
El astillero debe su nombre al almirante Horatio Nelson, un oficial naval británico que vivió en este astillero de la Royal Navy desde 1784 hasta 1787. Completamente restaurado a su esplendor original, los edificios de los siglos XVIII y XIX del astillero albergan comodidades modernas como tiendas , hoteles y negocios de puertos deportivos. Nelson’s Dockyard ofrece muchos sitios y actividades para que los visitantes exploren y disfruten. Anidado en el parque se puede explorar el Museo del Astillero, ubicado en la antigua Casa del Almirante. El Museo presenta a los visitantes exposiciones sobre la historia del Astillero y la investigación arqueológica actual en la isla. Devil's Bridge es un puente real formado por miles de años de formación y erosión de arrecifes antiguos. As a solo female traveler, it is important to me to find ways to see different sites where I feel safe. This tour fit the bill. I was able to see various parts of the island and felt safe. In addition, there was just the right amount of time at each location. I didn’t feel rushed or that there was too much time waiting around. It was just right.

Blondell was awesome. She was very knowledgeable about the the island. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was the best. She was able to make a quick stop at a pharmacy and found a store that had cut up pineapple 🍍, so we could try it. I would highly recommend the tour and Blondell.

What a fantastic excursion. Started out rocky because the instructions for meeting our Tour Guide were horrible. Spent about 45 minutes at the meeting location but no Pink Sign with our name. Ended up turning on my phone and we finally got connected. Viator needs to give better information regarding where to meet. That was the end of the negative. Met Michael in his Cadillac Escalade and off we went. He was a wealth of knowledge. We did circle the whole island and he had knowledge about every community. He was very accommodating with my hubby’s walker. Made sure we had a ramp, etc.

My husband and I took this tour a couple of weeks ago while on a cruise. Our driver, Benjamin, was outstanding. He took us all over Antigua, showing us so much of the island. My husband uses a wheelchair to walk distances, and Benjamin was so good about taking the chair in and out of the car. We went to Devil's Bridge and learned the history of the rock formation there. The walk down to see the bridge was really rough and rocky, but Benjamin patiently and carefully helped my husband get close enough to see the bridge. Then on Nelsons Dockyard where we saw amazing yachts and the historical naval yard. From there went to The Blockhouse Ruins and saw amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Our final stop was Shirley Heights with more amazing views. It was a great day, and Benjamin was very knowledgeable about the sites we saw. A great day all around! I would highly recommend this tour and especially Benjamin!

Broke car after 2 nd stop which was less then 50 % of the tour. Very old car and in bad condition. Driver was not able to solve the situation. No support from his office at all. Finally we organized a taxi back to our cruise ship by ourself. Still did not got reimbursed for the taxi fare back to the ship. Anyway a lost day in Antigua with very bad memories. Be careful if you wanna book a trip in Antigua. Your decision. Or let yourself guarantee that they use new cars. This was an axpansivw tour for 2 persons of more than 200 Euros

As mentioned before, we had refunded you the amount we would have been paid from the VIATOR site along with the US$40 taxi fare. Total refunded was US$211.60. We deeply regret the inconvenience caused and hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future to provide a much better experience.
