La Casa de la Virgen María es un santuario católico y musulmán ubicado en Bülbüldağı, ubicado en las cercanías de Éfeso. Este lugar sagrado fue premiado con la visita de varios papas y la Bendición del Patriarcado.
Descubre una de las ciudades comerciales más populares del antiguo imperio griego y romano. Éfeso es probablemente el sitio antiguo más famoso de Turquía. Era un centro comercial ocupado como ciudad portuaria. Éfeso tuvo una gran influencia en el mundo antiguo. También como un importante centro religioso del cristianismo primitivo y una de las siete iglesias mencionadas en el Libro de las Revelaciones. En Éfeso, verá la Biblioteca Celcus, el Templo de Adriano, la fuente de Trajano y el Teatro y más.
Visitaremos el Museo de la Experiencia de Éfeso y pasaremos al pasado con tecnología de vanguardia que da vida a la antigua ciudad. A través de increíbles proyecciones y exposiciones interactivas, sentirás lo que realmente fue vivir en Éfeso durante su mejor momento, una manera perfecta de poner las ruinas de mármol que acabas de ver en un impresionante contexto histórico.
Se trata de exclusivas residencias situadas en las pistas frente al Templo de Adriano en la calle Curetes. Comúnmente conocidas como las “casas ricas”, fueron descubiertas durante excavaciones recientes. Las casas cercanas a la calle Curetes cuentan con pórticos con columnatas, mientras que las calles escalonadas conectaban directamente con las entradas de las casas. Nos detendremos en Terrace Houses y exploraremos las Casas de los Ricos Efesios.
Almuerzo buffet abierto en un restaurante local con comida tradicional turca y opciones vegetarianas en Selcuk. Lo llevaremos de regreso al aeropuerto de Izmir al final del recorrido.
Templo de Artemisa, también conocido como Templo de Diana. Del templo, considerado una de las siete maravillas del mundo, sólo quedan una o dos piezas de mármol.

Excellent walk, all planned in advance, Hugo guide has a lot of knowledge and a lot of patience so you have a walk with good information and good photos. Being from the area you know the best times to visit the tourist areas. They could skip taking you to the shops that are not liked by everyone, but I understand that all package tours include it as part of their services.

It was a busy long day with much information and interesting sites. It was 102 degrees F (end of June) so lots of water was needed. Tour guide, Doris, provided water for us.
