Excursión a Bromo al amanecer vía Tumpang con inicio en Malang // 1 día
Descripción
El volcán activo Bromo se encuentra en un paisaje lunar de proporciones míticas y encanto glorioso. El volcán y sus alrededores ofrecen espléndidas vistas. Se encuentra en un mar de arena volcánica grisáceo cenicienta, rodeado por los acantilados imponentes del borde del cráter. Forma un paisaje lunar. Mientras que la sabana - botella verde durante la temporada de lluvias y dorada en la parte superior de la estación seca - limita con Bromo al sur. El Monte Bromo - de 2392 m de altura - es uno de los tres volcanes de una antigua caldera, que se extiende 10 km de ancho. Sólo el cono del Monte Bromo está activo. El monte Semeru es el pico más alto de Java - 3676 m - y florece detrás del monte Bromo cuando se encuentra en el mirador Penanjakan al norte del monte Bromo. Semeru también es un volcán activo y arroja sus cenizas cada 20 minutos. Cuando el cráter de Bromo también está humeando, las vistas son simplemente sublimes.

Itinerario
Un jeep te recogerá en tu alojamiento en Malang entre las 00:00 y las 00:30. En 2 a 3 horas llegará al monte Penanjakan. Como está entre 0 y 10 °C un aperitivo caliente local con café o té caliente le están esperando. Cuando el sol está a punto de salir, puede elegir su lugar. Desde su bebida de madrugada hasta el mirador es solo un paseo de 100 metros. Las condiciones climáticas y la actividad del volcán determinarán sus vistas matutinas, pero las vistas sobre este paisaje lunar siempre son espectaculares cuando sale el sol.
Después del amanecer, alrededor de las 6.00 h, llega el mar de arena volcánica negra. Este mar de arena rodea parcialmente el monte Bromo y es de color negro grisáceo. Muchos pequeños ríos cruzan este mar de arena. Podrá tomar el desayuno en algún lugar de este mar y disfrutar del entorno, antes de seguir rumbo a la zona de aparcamiento cerca del templo Poten Luhur.
El templo Luhur Poten es un templo hindú ubicado dentro del Mar de Arena que rodea el monte Bromo. Este templo sigue en uso activo. Cuando se celebran ceremonias, eres libre de mirar. De lo contrario, el templo está cerrado, pero sin duda es una vista impresionante en el Mar de Arena. El Jeep se estacionará cerca de este templo, para comenzar su caminata hasta el borde del cráter del volcán activo Bromo.
Luego está a 45 minutos a pie de la cima del monte Bromo. Si no tienes ganas de caminar, puedes alquilar un caballo. No olvides dejar de caminar de vez en cuando. Mira por encima de tus hombros mientras las vistas siguen cambiando. El Monte Bromo es un volcán activo en una antigua caldera con una anchura de 10 km. El grisáceo Mar de Arena y la sabana -verde botella durante la temporada de lluvias- rodean Bromo.
Una vez de vuelta en el coche, continuará hasta la sabana, justo detrás del monte Bromo, también llamada caldera de Tengger. Según la historia, la sabana solía ser un gran lago. Se secó y se formaron una gran variedad de texturas rocosas y arenosas. La sabana ahora es una extensa llanura con arbustos y colinas, entre las que puede encontrar las colinas de los Teletubbies. Dependiendo de la temporada, la sabana es de tonos dorados o un campo muy verde.
De regreso a Malang, puede visitar la cascada Pelangi. Después de la sabana es un corto trayecto en coche para llegar a la zona de aparcamiento de la cascada. Luego es una caminata de 30 minutos colina abajo. Pelangi significa arco iris. Cuando el sol brilla una vez se puede ver un arco iris sobre la cascada.
El templo de Jago es pequeño y construido entre 1275 y 1300. Se cree que es el lugar de enterramiento del rey Wisnuwardhana, el cuarto rey del reino Singosari. Desde la cascada de Pelangi al templo de Jago tarda unos 30 min. Su tiempo de regreso en Malang depende del tiempo que pase en los varios objetos en su camino de regreso a Malang. No tenemos un horario, la cantidad de tiempo que pasas en los objetos es tuya para elegir. En promedio, los viajeros están de vuelta en Malang alrededor de las 12:00 del mediodía.

I booked my Mount Bromo trip through Shelter Hostel Malang, not only was it easy and convenient to book with them but the staff is incredibly helpful and always smiling. I was also able to book my train ticket through the hostel which was a plus! The hostel itself is also very nice with great food and comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

This tour was spectacular, I did it twice as the first one touched us one cloudy day and we could not see anything and the second, two days later, was wonderful and worth all. What beautiful views you have from the viewpoint and then walk through the crater of the Brome listening to its roars, unforgettable. Just look at the weather forecast to make sure it’s not all covered and if you can avoid a better weekend as that’s when more people visit these places. Also from Malang take another excursion to Tumpak Sewu Waterfall, very beautiful and the funny thing is that you go down a waterfall to reach the Ace Waterfall. And from Banyuwangi, take the tour to Kawa Ijen to see the blue lava, the climb to this place was challenging but paid for everything with the views and experience up there. Excellent company was a success to go with Smartine Indonesia Travel, all excursions included, roundtrip transportation, water and breakfast.

We had A very good time visiting Madakaripura waterfall and Bromo. Due to private circumstances unfortunately no IJen. Our guide and taxi driver Dodo was polite, helpfull and A very good guide. Drop at harbor for Bali was welk planned.
Had a great time! We had the Malang- Bromo tour, with Bali drop-off. Everything went well and just like the time schedule. They choosed what was the best for us to do and they did great! Thanks to Adit our tour guide, he was the best!! He made our time 100 times better :) And ofcourse Johan our driver, he did great to bring us safe everywhere. They where the nicest people! Really recommend this tour if you want to go to Bali from Malang in one day and have a daytrip to Bromo also! (Good breakfast included by the way ;))
This requires some condition. The tour consists of 2 parts. Sunrise on a hilltop and a visit to the crater bromo. You have to get out of bed early before sunrise. The view is nice but not so spectacular to get up early. Front best style walk after the 4 wheel drive. Visit to the Bromo crater requires condition because of the style long staircase but also the climb to the stairs. You can rent a horse for 200,000 rupiah. View of the crater is impressive as are the sulfur fumes

But mostly people choose the sunrise so they can do the sharing trip and get the cheaper price like you did. Depart early for teh sunrise is necessary because the view point is crowded. If you depart later, it's gonna be traffic in the view point and you will be late for the sunrise. You also need to have your spot to wait for the sunrise and it will be difficult to find a good spot when everything is already full. Awesome day getting picked up at 12:30am and going until 12pm. The sunrise was an amazing start to the day and getting up close to the crater is a must do not to mention all the stops in between. Looks like another world at the top! Thanks from Australia 🇦🇺
