Excellent experience. Good and directions were outstanding
This was such an incredible experience! The host is so sweet and truly knows her stuff. I am so grateful she allowed us into her home and the food was all delicious as well. I would definitely recommend it to everyone! 10/10
We had a great evening! Mary was great! The food was delicious! The ingredients were so fresh, and we were hands on with the cooking. Views were spectacular!
Mary was a great teacher on Italian dishes. Learned a few things on Italian cooking. Would definitely rebook experience.
It’s was a great experience. Mary and Nonni were excellent hosts, very warm and welcoming. Our group enjoyed hanging out, preparing the meal and then, of course partaking in the meal. That night felt like a warm hug as we all sat around the table enjoying each others company and listening as Mary and Nonni shared their stories of living in New York.
If you're traveling to NY and looking to learn new cooking skills, recipes, or to socially connect with locals and fellow travelers—don't hesitate to book this dining experience! Whether your are a beginner or seasoned cook, Mary made it easy to participate in food preparation. We started with bread and olive oil tastings for light bites. Most of the oils were discovered during her travels in Italy. The course consisted of a salad, pasta entrée, and dessert. All the ingredients were healthy and fresh. I am SO glad that Mary asked about allergies. She shopped for the ingredients and adjusted the recipes to accommodate food sensitivities. She is quite knowledgeable as a food coach. Her approach throughout the class is thoughtful and intentional. We had a wonderful evening and felt welcomed. Our class size was small (3 people) and lasted 3 to 4 hours. And we received leftovers and the recipes to recreate them at home. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this class for those who want to learn to cook from scratch and make more nutritious choices. This class is engaging and great for travelers, couples, or food lovers. Thank you so much for making our NYC girls' trip memorable!
It was a great experience cooking with our host. We felt very comfortable with the ease of the evening while learning different ways to prepare pasta and side dishes. The house really provided wonderful memories for us to share with each other. Communication was easy. Highly recommend this activity.
We had a great time with Mary, and her husband Joe. The other 2 couples that joined were a nice addition. Mary made the evening relaxing and informative. Then the visit to the rooftop really made the evening. Unfortunately, it was too breezy to spend the evening there. I would recommend this to anyone that would like to enjoy a relaxing evening with good company. We came away with some tasty recipes too!! Thanks Mary (and Joe).
Absolute best time! The food and company were amazing! We learned a lot and have already made one of the dishes at home!
We learned new cooking techniques, ingredients, and future travel ideas! It was a memorable evening :)
