La Cripta Capuchina marca el tono del recorrido. Los monjes capuchinos utilizaron los huesos de casi 4.000 de sus hermanos para decorar este sombrío espacio en intrincados diseños de piso a techo, lo que le valió el macabro apodo de ‘la Capilla de Hueso’. Menos visitantes se enfrentan a la Capilla de los Huesos al anochecer, por lo que tendrás espacio para examinar cada detalle de este extraño lugar de culto, desde una calavera real hasta candelabros hechos de vértebras humanas. Su guía le dirá las teorías, pero depende de usted sacar sus propias conclusiones sobre el significado de los muebles esqueléticos de la cripta.
Un autobús con aire acondicionado te llevará desde aquí a tu segundo sitio, las Catacumbas de Priscilla. No se permite ninguna otra visita a estos túneles sagrados fuera de horario. Hace casi 2.000 años, los primeros cristianos se refugiaron aquí para enterrar a sus muertos y practicar su fe prohibida. Sin otros visitantes alrededor, y con su experto guía de habla inglesa para retransmitir la historia de las tumbas y túneles, realmente puede experimentar la atmósfera de este lugar sagrado. This tour is an absolute must‑do while you’re in Rome! It was incredibly interesting and made for some amazing vacation photos. Our guide was fantastic and spoke excellent English, and the guide who led us through the catacombs was wonderful as well. She really knew her history and made the entire experience engaging and memorable. Overall, this tour was definitely worth the money and one of the highlights of our trip!
We loved it. We liked Silvia a lot, she was a ten. First you are going to see the crypt which is inside a museum and is spectacular. Afterwards, by bus they take you to visit the catacombs which you are assigned an expert guide for, in our case a nun who explained everything perfectly. We loved the experience!
Really enjoyed this tour. We are a family with teenagers who also rated this. Very informative guide. The coolness of the crypts and catacomb's was very welcome too. So interesting. The tour guides also give interesting information/ stories about Rome as you drive past buildings and ruins which adds to the experience
Amazing and humbling experience, our guide was Ion and he was super knowledgeable and made the tour fun. We loved this tour and of all the places we went, people always love the bone crypt pictures the best, highly suggest this tour. 10 Stars!
Fantastic and interesting stops. The tour guide was very opinionated and we didn't appreciate that. It was slightly offensive. The catacombs was guided by a nun who was wonderful. Make sure to dress modestly (no shoulders or knees). That wasn't mentioned in the booking and we ended up having to buy disposable wraps/coats.
Our tour guide was Alberto, and he was great. We had a fantastic, interesting tour of both the crypts and the catacombs. My granddaughter especially loved it. This was something that was on her MUST DO while visiting Rome.
Really unique tour of the underground in Rome. The capuchin crypts are, to be honest, pretty creepy, however the attached museum and our guide really explained the reasoning and made the bone displays much more meaningful than if we had gone alone. The catacombs also were much better experienced with a guide. My 13 year old really thought it was amazing
