We paid for the deluxe cable car, 360° views. Worth it! Shared cabin with random strangers, hilarious conversation which added value. We did not buy the professional photo, hell no! Take some time to make it semi-flattering! Do we really look like that?! The only negative perspective to an otherwise memorable way to spend our money and precious time in Singapore.
very handsome I would recommend this 100%
Thank you for your kind feedback. We’re happy to hear that you had a great experience and would recommend the service 100%. We truly appreciate your support.
I would start by saying that the cable car ride is well worth taking, and gives some spectacular views of Singapore. My poor rating of the experience relates to ticketing. I purchase two tickets through the Trip Advisor/Viator website from an agency called My Singapore Holiday. When my wife and I turned up at the Mt Faber Cable car entrance the operator’s ticket scanner did not recognise the barcode of our tickets. I then had to purchase extra tickets at the ticket office to take the ride. I naturally presumed that as My Singapore Holiday had given me what appeared an invalid barcode I would be able to get a refund on the tickets I purchased from the website. I sent them a Whatsapp message (that is how they had communicated with me); I also message trip Advisor on their website. I receive an email from Trip Advisor stating that I would not get a refund as the ticketing agency (My Singapore HolIday) had not approved it! I would mention that at that at the time of writing I have not received a response to my WhatsApp message. We went to the cable car on a Tuesday morning; there was no queue, so I would suggest if you wish to take the cable car ride, pay at the operator’s ticket office and avoid the risk of losing your money.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear about the difficulty you experienced at the Singapore Cable Car entrance. After reviewing your booking, we confirmed that the official admission e-tickets and QR codes had already been issued and sent to both your registered email address and WhatsApp one day before your scheduled visit. Please note that the TripAdvisor/Viator booking voucher is not the valid admission ticket for entry to the attraction. The booking information clearly states that the official e-ticket and QR code will be sent separately by My Singapore Holiday via email or WhatsApp. Based on the information provided, it appears that the barcode presented at the entrance may have been the TripAdvisor/Viator voucher rather than the official attraction QR code sent by our team. This would explain why the barcode was not recognised by the venue’s scanner. Our contact number is included on the booking voucher. If you were unable to locate the official e-tickets or experienced any difficulty at the entrance, you could have contacted us before purchasing additional tickets. Our team would have been able to verify the booking and resend the correct QR codes immediately. We did not receive a request for assistance regarding the location of the valid tickets before the replacement tickets were purchased. We were contacted regarding a refund only after the additional tickets had already been bought. Unfortunately, once the official admission tickets have been issued, they are strictly non-refundable, as stated in the booking conditions before purchase. Since the valid tickets had already been issued and successfully delivered to you, we were unable to approve a refund for the additional tickets purchased directly at the venue. We regret the misunderstanding and hope this clarification helps future guests understand the difference between the TripAdvisor/Viator booking voucher and the official attraction e-ticket.
No problems, everything is safe and fine

Was a good experience however all of the decals over the windows made it difficult to get great photos

Booked this attraction in combination with the fireworks show. Cable car was modern and clean and well run. Staff assisted me with my technical issues around tickets with patience. Views particularly on the cross harbour section were amazing. Well worth the price.
Thank you for your review. We’re glad you enjoyed the clean, well-run cable car, the incredible cross-harbour views, and the patient support from our staff. Happy to hear it was worth the price!
Terrific views, the experience was amazing! The staff are friendly and helpful. Travelled a bit differently in the direction to original plan, fantastic anyway!
Thank you very much for your feedback. We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed the terrific views and found the experience amazing, with friendly and helpful staff. We’re also glad that, despite the change from the original plan, the experience was still fantastic. Thank you for sharing, and we hope to welcome you again in the future.
Missold ticket. Had a great day. There is a good deal more to see than the advertising would have you believe and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Beware though. If you purchase a Sky Pass via Trip Advisor. It’s actually sold by Viator and it’s not the same Sky Pass you would get on the official website, which allows you to travel on both sections of the cable car. Despite being advertised as a Sky Pass covering both parts of the cable ride, it only bought us a ride on the Mount Faber leg. When we went to board the Sentosa leg our ticket wasn’t valid. Although Viator sent the tickets three times, via email and Wattsapp, none of them were valid for the second journey. When we checked at the ticket office, we were informed that third party agents often don’t supply a full Sky Pass. As we were there we decided to pay the extra, which amounted to 34 Singapore dollars, about £20, not a lot but annoying when you you’ve already paid once. Trip Advisor needs to clarify what’s being offered with Viator urgently.
Thank you for sharing this detailed feedback — it’s extremely helpful. I’m very glad to hear you still had a great day and enjoyed everything the attraction has to offer. However, the situation with the Sky Pass is understandably frustrating. Being sold a ticket that doesn’t match what was advertised, then having to pay extra on-site, is something no guest should experience. Your note about the difference between the official Sky Pass and the third-party version is especially important. It’s clear that the listing on TripAdvisor/Viator needs better clarification so travelers know exactly what they’re purchasing and avoid surprises at the ticket counter. Thank you again for highlighting this — it will certainly help others make informed choices. If you need assistance with anything else, I’m here to help. 🙏
No problem with the pass, and a smooth , short ride on the Mount Faber Line as Sentosa closed for maintenance , however is would have been nice to have some commentary to show what we were looking at
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear that everything went smoothly with your pass and that you enjoyed the ride on the Mount Faber Line. We appreciate your helpful suggestion regarding commentary — that’s valuable input we’ll take into consideration to enhance the experience for future guests. Thank you again, and we hope to welcome you back once the Sentosa Line reopens!
