Descripción
Una excursión creada para los amantes de la naturaleza y la buena mesa. Lo llevaremos a visitar los lugares más bellos de nuestro volcán, pasando de los flujos de lava y los cráteres extintos a las impresionantes vistas de las terrazas de vid admirando la diversidad de la belleza natural. Exploración de una cueva de flujo de lava típica con casco y antorcha. Visita guiada en una bodega típica del Etna. Visitaremos una de las mejores bodegas ubicadas en el lado del Etna. Después de una visita a la bodega, tendremos la oportunidad de degustar algunos vinos nativos combinados con productos típicos locales.

Exploración de una espectacular cueva de flujo de lava. (Cascos y antorchas suministrados por nosotros). Visita de cráteres extintos a una altura aproximada de 2000 metros. Trekking suave adecuado para todos. Regreso a su alojamiento. Almuerzo incluido. Degustación de vinos en la bodega.

It was a nice and very interesting tour. The guide tried very hard. Unfortunately, the originally booked (German speaking) guide was ill. 2 fellow travellers do not speak English, but we have translated. Lunch was totally delicious and Etna an experience.

Dan was our driver and tour guide. We really enjoyed our time with him! Took about an hour and half to get from the port to Etna. Once we got there Dan stayed with us and we took the cable cars to the very top on the volcano. The views were amazing! The hike is a little difficult and it cold and windy so I recommend bringing a jacket. It was definitely worth it. Then we headed to the wine tasting at the most beautiful winery. They give you plenty of food with the wine tasting. We really enjoyed our time there. Dan made sure we got back to the cruise ship in time. Highly recommend this tour.

Luca, our guide, spoke terrific English and was knowledgeable about the volcano. He was patient with us trekking and answered all our questions.

Overall, the tour was fairly good. Our guide seemed a little off due to what seemed to be some kind of conflict with a booking agent. However, the hike around Mount Etna was really interesting, and he shared a lot of interesting information and stories. The wine tasting didn't feel like the best value for the price - after a morning of hiking, a small plate of cheese and olives didn't really cut it in terms of the food. If I were to do it again, I would probably book separate tours for Etna and the wine tasting.

Dan was a great guide. Allowed us all to enjoy Etna and the winery for extended times. Hiking was for a couple of hours at a pace all 3 couples enjoyed, some a little more in front and others spread out a little. No worries for Dan or any of us. Winery small bites and wine tasting very nice and not hurried. Good balance between the 2 experiences.

Great excursion walking up the Aetna slope. Our guide Roberto was very knowledgeable and helpful making the drive a pleasant experience. The wine tour was out of this world. The white wines were excellent and each wine selection was accompanied by a lot of complementary foods. Highly recommend this tour.

Excursion to Etna on 10.8.2024. Perfect tour: from the means of transport, to the route, to the scenic stops. Moreover, our Guide Roberto is an Expert biologist in the area, an excellent connoisseur of the Etna flora and fauna. He also explained the volcano's eruptions over time. We strongly recommend. Top experience!!!!

We were picked up by our tour guide promptly and the journey was good and our guide (Dan) was very informative. The tour was great and wine tasting/taster food was great. Only issue we had was that our friend left his glasses in the van. The company acknowledged they had them and I asked they post these back to the UK and heard nothing since.

We had a wonderful day with Dan. Our guide Dan took care that everyone of the group was Part of the Tour. We have learned a lot about the Etna (thanks Dan!) and had an amazing wine tasting with lunch at Patriot. It‘s not a big hiking tour but go for it, if you want to spend a nice day near Etna with a great wine tasting!
