Escenario nacional de ópera y ballet sueco, fundado en el siglo XVIII por el rey Gustavo III. Su edificio actual fue un regalo del rey Oscar II. Famoso por el asesinato de Gustavo III en 1792. La ópera es conocida por su lujoso interior.
Plaza nombrada en honor al rey Gustavo II Adolfo, "El León del Norte", que fue fundamental en el poder militar de Suecia en el siglo XVII. Conocido por encargar el malogrado barco Vasa.
El edificio del Parlamento sueco, construido de 1895 a 1904. Cuenta con un pasaje subterráneo al Salón de Actos, y el Museo Medieval se encuentra debajo del puente.
Construido en el siglo XIII, fue reconstruido después de un incendio en el siglo XVII. Sirvió como residencia real hasta que el actual rey se trasladó al castillo de Drottningholm.
Una antigua residencia privada se convirtió en el Tribunal Supremo de Suecia, el máximo tribunal de apelación del país.
Construido en el siglo XVII, este edificio sirvió una vez a la nobleza sueca y ahora se utiliza para eventos. También guarda una oscura historia relacionada con el asesinato de Gustavo III.
Hogar de la Iglesia Riddarholm, uno de los edificios más antiguos de Estocolmo y el lugar de enterramiento de los monarcas suecos.

On the plus side old buildings and roads its like its stuck in time a must see took plenty of photos down side its a tourist trap the prices are way to high compare to the rest of stockholme every shop is a diner or sells tacky gifts all the same the pavements are made of cobble stones wear decent shoes went to the palace very underwhelming STOCKHOLME itself is a great cityhad a great holiday if you life shopping and eating great place what ever direction you go down side 90% places take card only not good for your account after the bank charges if you want want to buy wine ask at the hotel
Noel was nice enough but really didn’t seem to know too much. Wasn’t really able to answer even basic questions about what he was showing us. Didn’t offer any pictures of what things looked like inside or in the past like other guides we’ve had. Also, finished 30 minutes early. He’s a nice kid just not very informed or seemingly curious about his surroundings.

The tour guide was a no-show! Followed by no reply to phone calls or the 'chat box', not even to an email, at least so far. A very disappointing & costly start to our week in Sweden.

We had a fantastic walking tour of the city of Stockholm with Noel. He told us a lot of the history of this beautiful city. We went over and around the area including old town.

Very nice tour and pleasant guide! Like a private tour, very informative and great intro to beautiful Stockholm. It was like walking with a friend! We decided to do a boat tour from the same company afterwards, "Sightseeing Ride" which was both environmentally sustainable and had a premium feeling!
