Explore los increíbles bosques nublados de Costa Rica en este tour de Monteverde. Su recorrido comienza por la mañana cuando lo recojan de su hotel de la zona de San José y luego viajará hacia la parte norte del país en un viaje muy pintoresco, con excelentes vistas de hermosas cordilleras, pueblos locales, granjas y la costa del Pacífico de Costa Rica. En el camino a Monteverde, también disfrutará de múltiples paradas para ver la mayor parte de Costa Rica. Pare brevemente en el puesto de frutas más grande del país, donde aprenderá sobre una gran variedad de frutas tropicales.
Continúe su recorrido con una parada en Caldera, donde visitará un lugar donde normalmente se observan muchos monos capuchinos de cara blanca en la naturaleza a una distancia notablemente cercana.
Tome excelentes fotos de paisajes asombrosos en su camino hacia las montañas de Monteverde, se harán un par de paradas en miradores donde se pueden ver hermosas vistas del Golfo de Nicoya y la Cordillera de Monteverde en días despejados.
Una vez en Monteverde, saboreará un delicioso almuerzo cerca del pueblo de Santa Elena y luego procederá a hacer el increíble recorrido por los puentes colgantes en el Bosque Nuboso en el Parque Selvatura, donde caminará con su guía durante aproximadamente 2-3 horas admirando las bellezas de este raro ecosistema y la búsqueda de la vida silvestre local, como monos, tucanes esmeralda, pizotes y el raro y resplandeciente quetzal, el ave más hermosa de Costa Rica. Esta caminata es de aprox. 3 kilómetros de largo (1,9 millas) y se realiza principalmente en terreno plano con algunas subidas suaves. A última hora de la tarde, lo llevaremos de regreso a su hotel en San José o podemos llevarlo a su hotel ubicado en el centro de Monteverde si planea quedarse en esa área después del recorrido.

Our guide was Alex and he was very kind and knowledgeable. Cautious but efficient driver too. The trip was great as we saw the capuchin monkeys in wild, such a peaceful and serene experience! Then went to a local restaurant and our food concern/choice was taken care of, without any problem. Monteverde forest was the highlight of the trip, with amazing guide there too. It was an amazing experience through the forest and hanging bridges.

It was a long day. Most of the trip was spent in a car ride. The trip started at 7am, and we were back at the hotel around 8.30PM. It was worth the long car ride. The trail we went to was phenomenal! It was a true rainforest experience. Our tour guide (Alex) took really good care of us. He was very kind and funny. The food was okay, nothing special. The survivor shop we went to after the trip was very expensive. Everything there was the same thing they sell at the airport. The car ride was very rough, so please be prepared lol. The only thing we didn't like was the first stop at the snack shops. It was way too long. It was about 40 minutes. I think that was unnecessary. We only have about 20 minutes to spend time with the monkey. If you are the type of person who loves animals and cares about nature, you will not enjoy Monkey House. Don't forget to bring a rain jacket!

Long Day for seniors pick up @ 5:30 home @ 8PM. Needs to find better stops with better bathrooms. We did have enough bathroom stops. Tour operator choice of restaurant did not provide the food we pre-order. I do not like subitutes as I am a diabetic. Would like to driver to stop occasionally for scenic stops. The tour guide was informative. But group moved along too quickly for seniors.Guide did not find any wild birds or animals. Will go UTube for info before going. Then take an Uber as we are group of three. Should have group rates. After watching UTube will plan my own trip.

The trip to the cloud forest in Monteverde was well worth it! Our guide and driver, Alex, did a great job, it felt like a small, personal tour! He made sure everything was going ok, made some stops to break up the long drive, and gave us a lot of interesting information about Costa Rica. Would definitely recommend!
