Recojo de su hotel en El Cairo, viaje a Alejandría. Inicie el recorrido con la biblioteca de Alejandría; la biblioteca más grande del mundo, ahora con 8 millones de libros. Visita el Museo President Sadat y visite el patio abierto donde podrá ver la estatua de Alejandro Magno y la estatua de Ptolomeo el primero, que se encontró bajo el agua cerca. Booking a tour with Headout to see the sights of Alexandria, Egypt for 7 hours. The cost of the tour included all the entrance fees. Mahmoud was our guide and he is very knowledgeable. His explanation of the history at each site was so informative. Mahmoud is an archaeologist and his Egyptian history is fantastic. This tour is a must do and hopefully you get to meet Mahmoud to enjoy Alexandria.
This is a must do while in Cairo & have a day to spare. This tour makes for a long day but worth it. Mohammed was truly an outstanding tour guide. You can tell he loves what he does. His knowledge of all things Egypt is incredible. Ask for Mohammed. Overall a wonderful tour full of lots of history.
The days we spent in Egypt were full of visits and activities, yet everything was very well organized. Mohamed Basuni was the group supervisor, and he followed our movements and schedule closely and helped resolve any issues that came up during the trip. We also really appreciated that Exodus Travel provided us with free internet throughout the tours, as well as water and snacks. Mohammed was the best! He was so knowledgeable and clearly loves teaching others. The trip was well planned and showcased Alexandria well for the few hours we had. The bus to and from Alex was also comfortable and convenient. If you want to take day trip from Cairo then this is perfect!
Went on this day trip to Alexandria with a group of friends. It’s a pretty long drive from Cairo, but it was worth it to see the coast, the Catacombs, and the Library. The guide did a good job, and the pickup went smoothly. It’s a very packed and tiring day, so it's a solid 4 stars from us across the board. Good value if you want to see Alexandria quickly in one day.
I had booked a day trip for Aug 31, 2026 from Giza to Alexandria (only car and driver with audio guide). I was apprehensive and was not sure what we were up for. As soon as I had finished my booking the tour operator recommended that having a tour guide is beneficial and I decided to book an english speaking guide. I was relieved when we were contacted the day before with details of the driver etc. The car ( large 12 seater vehicle) with driver came to pick us from our hotel. Our guide met our group in Alexandria and took us around. Unfortunately I can't remember his name however he was excellent. We had a wonderful trip. The guide took us to some places which were not on the list. We visited the Royal Palace green house and it was beautiful. There was an entrance ticket however it was worth it. At the end of the tour, we ended up booking our lunch through our guide. The restaurant by the sea was very good and so was the food. We also met a wonderful young couple from Turkey and we had a great time together. I never used to write reviews however I now realize it is important to provide a review so that future tourists are well informed and not apprehensive. We had a wonderful time. I would book them again without hesitation. I highly recommend tour guides. Mahmoud my contact was excellent in clarifying the details and making our visit a memorable one. Thanks Mahmoud.
We enjoyed our day trip to Alexandria. Mohammad, our guide was wonderful. He is knowledgeable, a good communicator with a good sense of humour. The staff at all monuments visited were helpful and courteous.
