La Casa de la Virgen María es el lugar donde Mary pudo haber pasado sus últimos días. De hecho, ella pudo haber venido a la zona junto con San Juan. Este lugar fue declarado oficialmente un santuario de la Iglesia Católica Romana en 1986, y desde entonces se ha convertido en un lugar popular de peregrinación. El papa Pablo VI visitó el santuario en 1967.

Éfeso es un sitio importante para el cristianismo; siendo una de las siete Iglesias del Apocalipsis. El apóstol Pablo probablemente pasó dos años y medio en Éfeso durante su tercer viaje misionero. Nuestro recorrido incluye Odeon, Agora estatal, Prytaneion, Monumento Memmius, Templo Domatian, Puerta de Hércules, Calle Curetes, Templo Hadrian, Latriens, Biblioteca Celsus, Marble Road, Agora comercial, Gran Teatro y Arcadine (Harbour Road).
Antiguas y lujosas villas residenciales, construidas de acuerdo con el plan hipopodamiano donde las carreteras se cruzan entre sí en ángulo recto. Las casas presentan dibujos que muestran gladiadores, caricaturas y animales y grafiti de nombres de personas, poemas y declaraciones de amor. Las visitas a Private House (denominado burdel, 'Terrace Houses') es una visita opcional para un extra de 25 ₺ / persona y su guía debe ser informado de antemano.
Despues del almuerzo; continuaremos con la visita al Templo de Artemisa; que es una de las siete maravillas de la antigüedad. Aquí, también habrá una buena oportunidad para tomar fotos de la Iglesia de San Juan y la Mezquita de Isa Bey desde el mejor ángulo.
Un antiguo pueblo en las colinas de Selcuk famoso por la producción de vino con sabor a frutas y casas tradicionales. Una vez estuvo habitado por 'Rum' (griegos bizantinos) que fueron intercambiados con los turcos del continente griego después del tratado de paz que siguió a la Guerra Nacional Turca.

We had a great day trip to Ephesus with Huray as our guide. She was so lovely and made the history really interesting with her detailed but easy-to-follow explanations. We also liked that she showed us some local businesses along the way, which gave us a better feel for the area and its culture. 1. This is not a private tour as advertised, but a small group tour 2. It states you can organise to go to terrace houses at Ephesus, but this was not actually possible 3. The tour of Ephesus archaeological park is rushed because you get to spend a lot of time with over-priced rug, oil, sweet sellers
