Intimate tour led by charming and professional people.
The receptionist on duty today at 11:15 AM, with incredible kindness, exceptional dedication, and exemplary professionalism, is worth the visit all by herself because she allows visitors to start the experience under the best possible conditions. Next to Gaudí's Casa Batlló, this house with its unique design is even more impressive. The guided tour is fun, and the guide was also particularly smiling and kind. Nothing like the employees at Gaudí's houses, who are almost all jaded and inhospitable. Nothing like that here: an intimate tour led by charming people. Highly recommended without hesitation.

Very nice home and the opportunity to taste their chocolate
Very pleasant visit with audio guide but in the presence of a person who directs us from room to room. Only regret not the time to look at the details because we follow from room to room as soon as the explanation of the audio guide is finished. 1 to 2 minutes free would be useful to observe the details and take the time to stop in the corridors to admire the paintings or other decorations. The possibility to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate in the dining area is appreciable as well as the shop for chocolate purchases.

Don’t know why this is not more popular - brilliant experience!
We did English guided tour at 10am and we were only 2 visitors! Cant believe why this is not more popular. The house is amazing and very interesting story of the Amatller family and their life. Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Finished off with a small box of chocolates included in the price and cup of melted hot chocolate - delicious!

Quieter and quieter walk to do
I liked it a lot, it is a much quieter walk than the other houses, the guide goes with vc on all floors and goes explaining all points, but the languages available are Spanish, Catalao and English only. My ticket gave me the right to a coffee at the end that was super worth it. The architecture of the house is pretty and peculiar, reminds a little of the houses of the historic cities of Brazil. It has air conditioning, which saves in the summer heat.

It's worth it!
I had read other reviews and decided to go see this house. I did not have to make Reservation online, we arrived at 10 am and were the first to pass. A Guide was always with us (I think his name is Luis, if I remember correctly, very gentle) and handled the audio guides we had. Personally I was impressed with the beauty of this house and especially the story she tells. My children aged 10 and 12 also liked saying that the memory they will have of Barcelona will be the Sagrada Familia and the Amatller house.

Very expensive for a short time
We have visited with an audio guide and a worker who accompanied us without more. We found it stolen for the short time the visit lasted. You can’t stay longer, you go from room to room as the explanation of the audio guide ends because the accompanying worker tells you. About forty minutes, including a small TV video. The apartment is nice, but does not match the price. We've been disappointed. The very serious worker who has accompanied us has guided us through the rooms we have accessed with protectors on our feet so as not to damage the ground. It is not worth it, a money badly invested, as there were four of us family and we all paid the entrance. I'd got carried away with opinions, but if you don't have enough money, don't go.

A small museum with lots of downtime
A museum that could have been nice to visit, becomes unpleasant due to the conditions imposed. Although it has only five rooms and would have been very easy to supervise, the organizers decided that it should be done in small groups controlled by a timed audio guide. Thus, a visit for which 20-25 minutes would have been enough, becomes boring, artificially extending to over an hour. The museum keepers didn't understand that today's visitor gets the information he needs, he doesn't have to be forced to give him information he doesn't ask for.

Beautiful Gothic architecture
If you're planning to visit Casa Batlló, Casa Amatller is just next door and although it isn't by Gaudi, this modernist architecture was truly amazing with hints of gothic styles. It was absolutely breathtaking and worth the visit!
