A las 10.00 a.m., conozca y salude a nuestro amigable conductor de habla inglesa en el lobby del hotel y continúe con su recorrido. Lo recogerán de su hotel en un vehículo con aire acondicionado y realizará un recorrido por la ciudad de Kuala Lumpur. El parque está bellamente diseñado con innumerables zonas verdes y flores coloridas. También hay un vivero y un área de cría donde se pueden ver las larvas de mariposas emergiendo como mariposas de sus capullos. Además de estas mariposas de varios colores y tamaños, también se exhiben insectos. Entre los insectos expuestos se encuentran los escarabajos rinoceronte y las mantis religiosas. El parque intenta imitar en la medida de lo posible los bosques tropicales, que es el hábitat natural de sus mariposas. Incluso la red utilizada para mantener a las mariposas dentro del parque tiene una altura que proporciona suficiente área de vuelo para que estas hermosas criaturas vuelen.
Ahora comenzamos el City Tour Cultural Gratis: TUGU NEGARA (MONUMENTO NACIONAL), EDIFICIO SULTAN ABDUL SAMAD, MASJID JAMEK y DATARAN MERDEKA (PLAZA DE MERDEKA). TUGU NEGARA (MONUMENTO NACIONAL) Situado frente a los jardines del lago KL, el enorme monumento de bronce fue construido para rendir homenaje a los soldados que dieron su vida por defender el país durante la insurgencia comunista en la década de 1950. El Monumento Nacional fue diseñado por Felix de Weldon, el arquitecto del famoso Memorial Iwo Jima
EDIFICIO SULTAN ABDUL SAMAD Sultan Abdul Samad Building, una de las atracciones más perdurables de la ciudad, Construido en 1897, se dice que el edificio ha sido el mejor en los estados malayos. Cuenta con un imponente porche, elegantes arcos en forma de herradura, brillantes cúpulas de cobre y una torre de reloj de 41,2 metros. La planta baja de este edificio alberga un centro de información turística.
MASJID JAMEK Construida en 1909, Masjid Jamek es la mezquita más antigua de la ciudad. Cuenta con elementos de diseño que están inspirados en la arquitectura Mogul I Northern India. Cúpulas y minaretes rematan las paredes de ladrillo y las columnatas arqueadas, mientras que una cúpula de 70 pies sobrepasa la sala de oración. Esta mezquita ocupa una ubicación histórica en la confluencia de los ríos Klang y Gombak, que es el lugar de nacimiento de Kuala Lumpur.
DATARAN MERDEKA (PLAZA DE MERDEKA) Dataran Merdeka es uno de los sitios patrimoniales más importantes de la ciudad. El jack de la Unión se redujo para marcar la independencia del país del gobierno colonial. De ahí el nombre dataran Merdeka, que significa "Plaza de la Independencia". Las actividades en la zona incluyen paseos guiados por el patrimonio gratuitos y KL ByCycle tours. Final del tour regreso a su hotel en un vehículo con aire acondicionado.

También puede unirse a nuestro recorrido desde el punto de encuentro de Kuala Lumpur, a saber, el Centro de Turismo de Malasia (MaTic): 109, Jalan Ampang, 55000 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malasia. Se aplica un recargo adicional por la recogida en el hotel fuera de un radio de 5 km desde el centro de la ciudad y se paga el día de la actividad.

Not worth visiting. Very few butterfly's and in need of serious upgrade as the paths and steps were dangerous in parts. Apparently it doesn't get many visitors and I can see why
Thoroughly disappointing, $10AUD for what seemed like 20 mins of rundown gardens, some dilapated fish tanks and very few butterfly's. Taxidermy at the end end was good as well as the live insect displays. Luckily I did the bird park ( which was fantastic) first and then walked down to the butterfly park last, would've been disappointing if I had done it in reverse. At least it was a spot for a Geab pick up/drop off so I could get the he'll out of there. Also, it's cash only and staff weren't very friendly.
Dear Aaron, I'm afraid you put this review on the wrong Tripadvisor listing. Out product or listing is basically Kuala Lumpur City Tour with stopover at KL Butterfly Park. Take time to visit the Butterfly Park while in Kuala Lumpur. Enjoy the variety of butterflies in the middle of the city. They have created a rainforest habitat with a maze of footpaths winding through lush vegetation, across bridges over koi ponds, past waterfalls, gazebos and turtle ponds. They also had a collection of beetles, stick insects and other insects, millipedes, etc. that we checked as well.
There were a few butterflies but not too many. The bigger butterflies were high in the canopy so could not see them It was not so expensive to get in do it was ok

It small but a great experience to see the butterflies up close. Good value for money. Great pictures taken. Very close to the bird park too.
We didn't get the tour advertised. Apparently the operator doesn't have many English speaking drivers, so they sub- contracted it to an individual driver/guide who took us on his own route with 8 or 9 stops including the Butterfly Park. He also made the butterfly stop later in the tour because he said most of the butterfies would still be asleep earlier! Probably far better than the advertised tour!
The butterfly park is very cool and you'll see and probably touch a lot of cool butterflies, but it's also a greenhouse, so prepare to sweat while walking through there.

Doesnt matter if you are a Butterfly enthusiast or not.. This place is streaming with Butterflies.. and they come and sit on you! Also there is a nice museum of insects and snakes on the way out.. so plan for that.. you can spend an easy half an hour there! Well worth the money
