The visit to the Hamburg Dungeon was exceptionally great. Interactive, funny, and interesting all at once.
There were five of us there and we all enjoyed it! The youngest was 13, the oldest 76. Spooky, but above all, fun too! It was a real shame that we had booked for 5:00 PM but still didn't get into the 5:00 PM tour; we had to wait another 30 minutes in a totally hot anteroom. That was really stupid; I don't understand how that can happen. What are online bookings for, anyway?
It was simply great. Superb actors and a nice crew. It was a lot of fun. We will come back.
We visited the Hamburg Dungeon with our children (8 and 10 years old) and all four of us were thrilled. The individual stations are very interesting and provide a good insight into Hamburg's (dark) history. The actresses are fantastic, and there is definitely a creep factor present. However, it is such that admission is justifiable from age 8.
Perfect for our daughter (13) and just right for some scares. The adults also had fun. A great experience for us.
The Hamburg Dungeon was an absolute highlight of our visit to Hamburg! The mix of history, excitement, humor, and great special effects is simply unique. The actors were outstanding – with a lot of passion, wit, and talent, they brought every scene to life. The sets are impressively designed and create an incredibly authentic atmosphere. From start to finish, it was exciting, entertaining, and engaging. A clear recommendation for everyone visiting Hamburg – we would gladly come back!
