Los excursionistas te van a encantar. Este es el mayor activo histórico de Pula, y te dejará boquiabierto. El grandioso Anfiteatro, uno de los más grandes del mundo, fue construido durante el I d.C. bajo el reinado del emperador Vespasiano, casi al mismo tiempo que el Coliseo de Roma. El plano del suelo es elíptico, el eje más largo mide unos 130 m y el más corto unos 100 m. Esta enorme y magnífica estructura está ensamblada únicamente con piedra caliza local y se conoce como Pula Arena. A pesar de que se sometió a una gran cantidad de trabajos de restauración, el sitio todavía tiene capacidad para 5.000 personas y se utiliza en verano como lugar para festivales y actuaciones. Pero eso no es todo. Acércate a los pasajes subterráneos, una vez utilizados por gladiadores, y visita una exposición permanente de ánforas y equipos utilizados en la producción de aceite de oliva en la antigüedad.

Seen the Amphitheater in Rome, and this is a disappoitment in comparison. It's ten Euros on the door which is the cheapest wat to pay. When we were there, there was a music stage inside, which was a bit weird. To be honest, as others have said. You can see it from the road, mostly.
Back to the past with this historical tour
A great place to visit. A very good example of a roman arena, coupled with a lot of good qr information. The underground area with olive oil history was also interesting. We travelled here just for this and were impressed. Parking right outside, excellent but 4 euro an hour. Shaded area to sit and eat. All in all worth the visit

I wish someone would have warned ticket holders on that day that there was a marathon ending here. Weren’t able to see everything and there was loud music and tents being set up inside the coliseum. Other than that, beautiful spot.

Great experience! But... Do not buy a ticket in advance on Tripadvisor. Much cheaper on site. Half price to buy at the door.
Definitely worth a visit. What an impressive place. Loved that you could scan as you walk to know the history of the places would definitely recommend a visit.
Poor value for money - you can see the same from outside as roads lead round it. There is nothing you can see by entering and paying 10euro that you can’t see from outside
Despite illness-related fatigue, a wonderful visual delight and suitable for historical information.
