Comenzará su recorrido a las 8:30 a. M. (Hora de la mañana) a la 1:30 p. M. (Hora de la tarde) en el aparcamiento del hotel Ella Gap (punto de encuentro estándar). Habrá bicicletas, cascos y refrigerios para el recorrido. Su guía de ciclismo y vehículo de respaldo lo acompañarán. Podrás disfrutar de los hermosos paisajes de Ella mientras recorres tu ruta de 20 km.

En el camino, cruzarás el campo a través de algunos bosques para llegar al Puente de los Nueve Arcos. Este increíble viaducto histórico construido completamente de piedra, ladrillos y cemento (sin acero) fue creado en la era británica de Sri Lanka. Se extiende por un espacio de más de 300 pies y tiene una altura de aproximadamente 100 pies. Podrá caminar a lo largo del ferrocarril que pasa por el puente y escuchará a su guía de senderismo explicar la historia y las historias sobre Nueve arcos. También puede obtener excelentes fotografías y crear algunos recuerdos. Luego continuará hacia Little Adam's Peak. Esta área termina en una fuerte caída que le brinda vistas estupendas del paisaje que lo rodea; incluyendo la increíble vista desde Ella Gap y Knuckles Range. Nice bike tour with very nice Sam to the Nine Arch Bridge. Along the way you will find information about tea and all kinds of wild growing fruits and peppers. At the end of the tour back with an old train. For tall people, the bikes are on the small side.
The guide for this experience really made the adventure worthwhile! He was knowledgeable and very excited to share all the things he loves. Views were great and Sana went out of his way to help with photos. Only one word of caution is the traffic on very narrow roadways coming to and from the bridge can be a little tricky if you are not a confident cyclist. Also should have a decent level of fitness as there are some hills. I enjoyed it all and would recommend it!
We had booked a 4-hour mountain bike tour. Pick-up from the hotel by TukTuk worked great and we drove about 10 minutes to the starting point of the tour. The mountain bike has 5 gears, so far so good. We are then the same way we rode the TukTuk, back by bike and a bit further to the 9 Arch bridge. There we waited for the train, then waited again until the train left and then we just rolled to a station and the tour was over. Pure mountain bike ride time: 1.5 hours. The rest was waiting. And for that per person 50 euros is far too expensive. 15 to 20 euros would have been appropriate and actually that is still too much. The guide was very nice and tried but he had no idea what to do with us or where to go with us. So this is not a MountainBikeTour but just a ride to the 9 Arch bridge. Of course, I know that often imagination and reality don’t go together, but a tour off the main road through tea plantations around the countryside wasn’t.
We had a great time on our cycle trip, our guide, Sana, was so kind and knowledgeable about filling us in on the areas we were traveling through. I would recommend, just keep in mind there are some steep hills to cycle up!

We tend to do a cycling tour in each place we visit so decided to do this and one based on the reviews. Overall it was a great experience as you take in all the main sites of Ella including the famous 9 arch bridge. We finished by cycling to one train stop along and boarded the train to travel across this bridge itself which was amazing. Guide was great. Only thing I would say is it's quite hilly on the tour so it does require some effort in parts - but you are rewarded with a beautiful tour around Ella.
