Great evening! First, very delicious and high-quality food in the restaurant (we had booked the option with food), then directly across to the tango show. Great authentic location, super professional show, but everything very intimate and not so big. The owner personally paid attention to every detail. The staff was extremely friendly and there was never a shortage of drinks. Highly recommended!
An excellent dance show, we had a great evening with dinner and show. Dinner is across the road with excellent service and unlimited drinks really did happen. As you arrive you are given your table number in the show, and service was quick but not rushed so you were finished before the show started. The show was great - excellent performances and excellent atmosphere. You get 2 free drinks there and service was prompt. Overall a must do when in Buenos Aires. We didn’t book the transport - uber was cheap and easy to get both directions.
The tango show is excellent and it is the most authentic house in the world. As other reviews said, the dinner was just ok and could be skipped. What kills is not even that the meat was bad, but it was roasted black and with a taste of burned (bad execution).
Very fun 😆!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! With Iván, Sebastian, and Amyali
A marvelous night!!!! This was my first time in Buenos Aires and I was looking to see a classic and intimate show. And without a doubt, "El viejo Almacén" was the right choice. Indescribable the technique of the dancers, musicians, and singers. The icing on the cake is the warm and loving attention of their waiters. For me, it was a very special moment because I went with my 66-year-old mom who has a complicated health diagnosis, and they helped her feel happy and joyful. A thousand thanks ❤️

The show was beautiful, colorful, and super entertaining. The dinner, however, could definitely be improved.
Impressive dancers, lots of airtime for Hugo Marcel, which could have been cut by half: but ultimately worth a visit. Kind staff who pointed out a close late night eatery nearby after the show.
EVA offers a dinner/show package that’s hard to pass up, especially for celiacs. The tango show alone costs 70 USD, but if you pay another 50 bucks you not only get a 3-course dinner, you also get a door-to-door ride to and from the venue from nearly anywhere in the city. If you’re a true foody, you’ll probably be disappointed with the food on offer at EVA, which is good but not great. If you’re a celiac, however, you’ll really appreciate the care taken with cross-contact and also with the convenience of eating right next door to the show venue, which is in San Telmo, a neighborhood with very few celiac-safe restaurants. The night I was there, the menu had two gluten-free options for each category: appetizer, entrée, dessert. A bottle of the house Malbec is also included in the ticket price.
Fabulous show in an intimate venue.
